These make great cookies. I think they have the right amount of chocolate chips and they taste fabulous.

Be sure to use real butter. In GF cooking, margarine doesn't work as a substitute...I tested it too and margarine cookies tasted terrible, looked even worse and crumbled into a million pieces. Butter (as box calls for) were perfect and delicious.

These will definitely be my go-to for chocolate chip cookies! I hope Betty Crocker begins to make other Gluten Free items as well!

These cookies are by far the best GF cookies I've had. The Ingredient list is as follows: Rice Flour, Semi sweet Choc chips (sugar, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla#,Brown sugar, Sugar, Potato starch, potato flour, Leavening#baking soda,sodium acid pyrophosphate, monocalcium phosphate) salt. Contains Soy ingredients.

Try them, you wont be let down!

These cookies taste just like I remember the wheat-flour recipe tastes! I like my cookies a little crisper and these came out perfect!! Highly recommended for those who "remember when" and want that great Betty Crocker taste.

Try adding some GF smooth peanut butter and about 2 T of heavy cream....let the dough sit in the fridge for 30 minutes, then bake as directed. The wait time lets the dry rice flour absorb moisture and the cookies won't be as grainy. You can also bake in a brownie pan for GF "Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip" brownies - very tasty.

For those that are looking for the ingredient list check out the Betty Crocker website - they have a great gluten free section for the new products.

When mixing the ingredients don't be alarmed that the batter is very crumbly. We used a round ice cream scoop when putting on the baking sheet - worked fabulously! The result is a buttery, chewy delicious cookie! My daughter made them with her friend and her friend brought some home to share with her family...they had no clue they were gluten free. I would buy this over and over again!

Thank you Betty Crocker for a product that is simple to prepare and one that might soon be available in mainstream markets. Received mine through Amazon yesterday and promptly made them up as directed. Super easy to prepare, directions clear, but flavor was just average and texture grainy (the rice flour used in the mix is not a very fine grind). Must say that my standard GF chocolate chip cookies using Karen Robertson's "Cooking Gluten Free" recipe, page 184, and "Wendy Wark's Gluten Free flour mix", is in my opinion far superior. But, for friends who wish to mix up a batch of cookies for my child without a lot of fuss, this Betty Crocker Chip Cookie Mix would be just the right product.

I read the reviews and purchased a couple of boxes yesterday. My daughters had friends over so I made them. They were delicious and no ill effects (for those of you giving bad ratings w/o trying). The ingredients ARE listed on the box and you can also visit the web site. I am so happy and grateful that a "Mainstream" company is getting into the gf market. Waistlines aside, we should all be supporting them.

Has anyone noticed that none of the Betty Crocker Gluten Free mixes have gotten any negative feedback from anyone who has actually TRIED the product? Just a lot of whining from people who complain about how hard it is to research a gluten free diet but then don't even know enough to call Betty Crocker if they have a question. I have Celiac disease too and am just thankful the disease is getting enough attention that a mainstream manufacturer will invest huge $$$ in developing products for us. Pick up a phone if you have any questions for pete's sake!
