Betty White has been a lifelong animal lover. She is also best known for comedic, genius, witt and humor along with her acting talents. Betty White is a national treasure in the entertainment field. At almost 90 years old, Betty White is better than ever.

This book is about the loves of her life at the Los Angeles Zoo. If you're planning to visit the Los Angeles area, you might want to add the Los Angeles Zoo on your list of attractions. You might see Betty there visiting her friends. She is a supporter of the zoos existence all over the country. If you have a zoo in trouble, call Betty and she'll come to the rescue.

This book argues for the zoos existence as conservation and preservation of endangered animals and species. Betty loves all the animals there and has an all-access pass to the zoo itself. The pictures in this book are colorful and show Betty's spirit. She spends a lot time at the Los Angeles Zoo. It's her home away from home.

This book is not so much reading as it is seeing pictures and some writing to express the history. It's not a difficult read but it's worth reading. It's great for Betty White fans and animal enthusiasts to see the positives of zoos like the Los Angeles and others around the world in keeping the animals there for our enlightenment.

My granddaughter loves animals and this book by Betty White tells of her beginnings as a young child going to the zoo and how she has spent her entire life supporting zoos on many levels. She read the book on a weekend and was really inspired by the depth of commitment. A great read for anyone.

This book is a bit different than what I expected. Instead of being a nice autobiography of her time spent in zoos, Betty chose to have a sort of mini coffee-table-book full of short anecdotes and photos of her most memorable animal friends. These stories and photos are all very nice and charming, and full of Ms. White's special brand of humor and passion!

So it's a short book, and a very easy read, but a nice collection of stories and photos all the same. I would even recommend this book for slightly older children to read, it would be perfect for the animal loving kid! (Ages 7-12, probably? It could be read to younger children as well!)

If you're a fan of Betty White, I recommend picking up this book as just a nice little reminder of why she's awesome.

Betty's book is informative, funny, warm and encourages the reader to care about the future of all animals. I recommend this book to all who like Betty White and enjoy reading about adventures with animals.

While the book was simplistic in nature it conveyed the deep love of animals and commitment to their well being that Betty White has exhibited for the last four decades. The book was a gift for my sister who with much less in the way of financial resources has demonstrated a similar love and commitment as Betty. My sis loves the book!

I like Betty White as an actress, and I'm a huge fan of animals and of zoos, so this book seemed like the perfect combination. Like other reviewers, I was hoping for stories of Betty's animal friends and her adventures at zoos across the country. There are a few stories here, but for the most part this is a book of pictures, showing some of Betty's furred, feathered, and scaly friends and some interesting facts about them. Not what I was expecting, but still an enjoyable and delightful read.

Betty's trademark humor also surfaces throughout this book, whether it's quips about "using my body" to raise funds for a chimpanzee exhibit or dryly remarking "I know how that goes" when saying that a camel's humps tend to sag and droop with age. This is Betty White, after all, whose known for her risque and outlandish humor... and we love her for it.

More of a coffee-table book than an actual book of stories, this is still a cute read, and the pictures are exquisite. Betty White is no James Herriott, but her book is still an enjoyable diversion that you can probably breeze through in a few hours.
