Stunning, shocking, sensational, strange, revealing ... no matter the adjectives I use to describe this book. They all fall short to illustrate the facts documented in this awesome book.
You will need a strong heart and an open mind to understand and digest the stunning revelations described and documented in this book.
This book is a continuation of "A spell on all Their houses" to which I had described as "Probably the best discussion of the world's religions available". This is even better. More information, more shocking facts, more misconceptions, more twisted ideas, enforced truths and maliciously distorted facts. More revelations for many of us, too.
Do you want to know how forged and manipulated are the "facts" that your church makes you believe just "by faith"? Please, discover it by yourselft in this book.
Did you know that there are dozens of "prophets" born on December 25, from a virgin mother, visited by "wise men" at birth? Did you know that all of them were crucified and then resurrected? Did you believe all this time Jesus was the first and the only one? If you want to know the facts, read this book.
Is amazing how through the years we have been fooled by the religious leaders around the world. It is almost unthinkable that very few have had the audacity to doubt what we were taught.Read more ›
It does not put religion down in any way, but gives the reader proof throughout history that some of the things that the churches have taught could be wrong.
Very well written & backed up with with facts that will give the reader with the open mind a new way of thinking about many religions from around the world.

Beyond All Religion brings out some points and comparisons that are interesting but (there's always a but)- it isn't well written and often repetitive.
Worth a glance- especially if you're not paying much for it- but not a comprehensive study of the subjects nor a great resource.

This is a book (and I use the term lightly) of heterogeneous hodge podge and mish mash. Considering the authors so-called background I would think that his grammar and writing... Read morePublished 1 month ago by DM

This book is quirky as all getout. It has a cranky, curmudgeonly tone, which I appreciated. The scope of the book is broad, generally only having the constant theme of debunking... Read morePublished 20 months ago by Kevin D. Hagerty
