I believe this book greatly misrepresents the Founding Fathers. Nothing proves this better than a study of Madison's Notes From the Constitutional Convention, or Madison, Franklin, and Jefferson's autobiographies. Madison's notes cover the entire 88 days of the convention, where you will see unparalleled debate, compromise, wisdom, and statesmanship. What you will not find is any discussion of religion, because that simply isn't what the founders were meeting about. Get your information strait from the pens of those men, and skip the modern politicized attempts to reinvent our history, and our founding fathers. Read the history of the colonies by men who were there. This book would make excellent campaign material for far right candidates, but to call it history is a disservice.
