“Beth Cabrera has written a meticulously researched, eye-opening book that is at once a call to action to change outdated workplace and cultural norms that are out of sync with the way we live, and an inspiring and evidence-based road map toward discovering our true purpose. Beyond Happy: Women, Work, and Well-Being is an essential guidebook for any woman, any person, who wants to understand not only why things are so crazy, but how to change that, and to begin to live a joyful, meaningful life.”

Beth Cabrera has written an important book for women and men alike. We need to pay attention to what we expect from each other. Outdated social constructs around the role of women are not only irrelevant but also pernicious to a healthy, productive society. Men and women need to address policies, attitudes, and expectations. Moreover, Cabrera has given us all a clear path toward being happier, healthier and more purposeful.
