We entered couples therapy with a female psychologist. I was still at a loss. (I have asked to meet with a male psychologist for balance.) I could not talk to my wife without a coating of ice forming and bricks stacking in the wall growing between us.
About six weeks into the therapy the psychologist asked if I had read "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". I had. She said the sequel was out. I immediately purchased "Beyond Mars and Venus".
The first half of the book lays the foundation. The second half is well-worth getting to and reading. Gray's writing style is an easy to read narrative that does not bog down in technicalities. It is easy to understand. You will find yourself re-reading paragraphs and sections as you see yourself and your mate living the written word.
Men -- if you ever wondered where the spark went the answer is here.
Women -- reading this will explain what is going on especially as aging occurs.
Save your relationship. Get and read this book. The author says not to tell your partner to read the book. This is excellent advice.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Late Middle aged men and Menopausal women that have previously read his books.
Title says it all. He talks about hormones like everything is scientifically proven for what he's talking about but the majority is sudo science bullshit with a sprinkling of real science. Like in one section he talks about how a man can improve his testosterone by doing certain random activities. One of those activities was *Driving*! Of all things? Driving. And then he talks about how you can buy testosterone supplements on his website.
This book has some decent advice mixed in, but you have to REALLY dig for it. I'm sorry if you were hoping for more.

This book is useful too, but very repetitive and I had to do further research on the Internet about how hormones affect my life.
