How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

Of the four Mind’s Eye soundtracks, this one is the best. If you enjoyed relaxing to the 90s period of “new age” and electronic adult contemporary instrumental music, this will be one of the movement’s better listens, even if you never saw the movie. Both relaxing and energetic without ever being nerve-racking, it’s one of Hammer’s best albums from his later years, without some of the smooth jazz cliches that slipped into the otherwise fine Drive. A classic.

I have looked for this album all over the Internet just to finally find it on Amazon. This was always one of my meditation favorites during college and I finally found it again.

I had owned the Laser disk back in the 90's and always enjoyed the music. When I saw this on Amazon I decided to order it and I think it was really a great find. I plaed it continously every day in my car for good two weeks before bringing it inside and listening to it on my home hifi.
I have heard a lot of New Age music and own few albums, this is one of the very unusual ones as it has a bunch of tunes with very good melodies, They grow on you as you continue to listen to them.
I found the recording to be very polished, sort of warm and full in the lows as well as mids, the high is just right without being shrill.
A good album to own for sure

while the only one of this series ive ever listened to\heard, I can safeley say it brings back fond memories of the watching the VHS back in the day and now that I have the accompanying tunes in this modern day in age, its a great listen even without the weird (and albeit semi dated) visuals to go along with it.
Personal Favorite\Reccomended Track: Too Far
I feel like i could listen to this one on repeat forever if i wanted to and not really get tired of it XD

Great Imagery compilation especially when you consider the computer power of 1986-1992, The journey through imaginary lands, landscapes and galaxies is great accompanied by a great soundtrack. Krypto introduces and explodes allover the screen -- Absolutely Brilliant!!
I have the VHS copy of this which I bought back in the early 90's to see how my tiny effort had translated to the video. It's a nice thing to have on the resume though, however small.
Worthy a viewing and it stands up pretty well with modern standards although today we are in almost photo-real worlds, back in the late 80's early 90's -- when this was made -- the technology and PC power wasn't quite there yet.
Thumbs Up!!

Beyond the Mind's Eye is an album featuring 15 different songs with a mix of modern, techno, and new age feel. It is the sequel to the album and, like its predecessor, offers a variety of primarily wordless music that is geared toward a variety of moods (the only two songs that do contain words are the vocal version of "Seeds of Life" and "Too Far"). "Too Far" is an upbeat, easygoing song. "Magic Theater" has a sense of mystery and enchantment, and "Nothing but Love" is romantic. I recommend buying this album if you enjoy synthesized modern music.

Not paying close attention, wanted the DVD, not the CD.

I have the VHS tape of this same title and it has most of the songs on this album. I liked it very much cause of it being non-vocal modern music with synthesizers. Actually, one song does have some vocals, which is just one sentence. There may be one more or 2 that do also but I can't remember off the top of my head.
