One of the most important books I have ever read. If you read Campbell's The Deliverance of God you will want this because it clarifies the argument Campbell sets forth. Chris Tilling is a terrific theologian and writer. I treasure this book and am re-reading it.

Douglas Campbell should be read by anyone who wants to learn Paul. Chris Tilling is probably one whose work understands the complexity and importance of Douglas's more than any other publishing scholar. Both are incredible contributors to scholarship on the Pauline corpus.
