Rock and Hope are still my favorites but Teller and Charlotte have moved to 2nd place. There are some really tender moments between them but what I really loved was the way Teller stood by Charlotte, no matter what and how he tried to give her every thing she needed. There's a part in the book where Charlotte is into something kinky and Teller gets advice on how to please her while making sure he's not harming her physically or emotionally, that's when I fell in love with him. No matter what it may have cost him, he was 100% in her corner, whether it meant putting up with her smart aleck brother or her uncle who was in a rival gang, or members of LOKI, who didn't trust her. I loved Charlotte fierce independence, loyalty to Teller and her savvy, she had to navigate a lot of scary situations but she did it with grace and kept her wits about her. I also love how the couples in former books make an appearance so we get to keep up with what's happening to them. Great couple and I look forward to the next book.
Where do I begin...... I have read this series since it was first published. In the beginning Teller is a loyal MC brother, an overprotective brother to his little sister and a man-whore. He did what was asked of him and basked in the rewards. Until one night he thought his world came to an end with grief and guilt. Through guidance and support of his MC family he has become a man who has healed and can help in the healing. He can be loved and love. Autumn has written an excellent story and I applaud her.
This is the conclusion of Teller's story. Beyond Reckless should be read first.
I’ll admit, at first I wasn’t a fan of Charlotte. Her constant insecurity bothered me and didn’t seem like a trait Teller would want. But I grew to like her and to understand why she was so important to Teller. And Teller, I was so glad he finally was able to heal, both physically and mentally, with Charlotte’s help. I was also glad he realized how important Murphy and Heidi were to each other and that he couldn’t have picked a more perfect man for his sister.
Looking forward to more Lost Kings.
