"When I got my advanced copy of this book I thought for sure I knew where the story was headed. A few pages in and Kennedy took a zig when I expected a zag and continued to keep me on edge the rest of the book. I enjoyed Mr. Kennedy's take on the Norse and Jinn Mythology and Master Chief O'Leary facing his worst nightmare." - T. Matthews

Although the action is packed in it seemed a little longer than other books which made it that much more satisfying, and it's only a small thing, but re-capping the story so far was very unobtrusive, and I really appreciate this in a series.
This is my favorite since the first Janissaries book.
If you enjoy this one read all the theogony books and the seatle series.
It should be interesting, but by now the fact that Chris happily introduces 10-20 named characters who won't survive to the end of the book, and that some characters like Sara, Chris's supposed long time girlfriend and assistant science officer on the Vella Forge have disappeared from the tale completely.
Its just not a fun read anymore
Despite that, it and it series are a pretty fair series. I enjoyed these books and would read again, but I can't rate it a perfect, I suppose.
Note: These books come with no DRM, which is a huge plus in my opinion. I am a fan of fair use!
