The most engaging party game you'll ever play - for up to 75 players
In Ultimate Werewolf, you and any number of other players (as few as 7 and as many as 75) attempt to figure out who is a werewolf over the course of several game days and nights. Each day you'll choose a player (hopefully a werewolf) to eliminate.
Each night. ..the werewolves will eliminate a villager. Fortunately for you, some of the villagers have special powers, like the Seer, who learns the true identity of a player each night. The game continues until only villagers. ..or werewolves. ..remain.
Rich, Engaging Gameplay; you'll be talking about it over the next week
As a villager, seek the truth about your fellow players. As a werewolf, bluff your way to safety.
A timer app to keep the game moving
The Ultimate Werewolf timer app, available on iOS/Android/Kindle Fire, allows you, with the tap of a button, to move the game along quickly. You can customize every aspect of the timer, from timer lengths to the kinds of alerts that sound.

SeerThe Seer gets to view another player's card each night as she looks for werewolves. She's the village team's most valuable asset, so she has to be careful not to expose who she is before she has enough information. |
VillagerVillagers are trying to figure out who the werewolves are. Most werewolves will claim to be villagers, which makes convincing the rest of the players that you really are just a villager quite difficult. |
WitchThe Witch has the ability to save a player who was targeted by the werewolves for elimination at night, and she also has the ability to eliminate the player of her choice. However, she can only use those powers once per game. |

WerewolfThe werewolves' goal is to eliminate all the players from the game, until there are only werewolves left. Each night, they secretly pick a player to eliminate. Each day, they try to act like they aren't werewolves. |
SorceressThe Sorceress isn't a werewolf, but she wants them to win. She has the ability to find the Seer, so each night she checks the identity of a different player. Once she finds the Seer, that will help the werewolves immensely. |
Wolf CubThe Wolf Cub is on the werewolf team. But the other werewolves are very protective of their cub. If the Wolf Cub is eliminated, the werewolves get to eliminate two players the following night. |
Product description
Ultimate Werewolf is an interactive game of deduction for two teams: Villagers and Werewolves. The Villagers don't know who the Werewolves are, and the Werewolves are trying to remain undiscovered while they slowly eliminate the Villagers one at a time. A Moderator (who isn't on a team) runs the game. Ultimate Werewolf takes place over a series of game days and nights. Each day, the players discuss who among them is a Werewolf and vote out a player. Each night, the Werewolves choose a player to eliminate, while the Seer learns whether one player is a Werewolf or not. The game is over when either all the Villagers or all the Werewolves are eliminated. The Deluxe Edition has 80 cards, a moderator scorepad, a Getting Started guide and a 24 page rulebook.

The Breakdown:
- It says you can play with as few as 5 people, but you should probably have at LEAST 6 (one to be game master). The more the better though, and it's not always easy to get a group that large together.
- Sometimes the cards are vague and don't explain themselves well enough, so go over the rules for each card with everyone before starting any games.
- Beautiful artwork!
- Probably some of the most fun I've had playing games. We don't exactly play it PG, and alcohol only makes it more enjoyable.
- Clever game play, and there are FOUR expansions that add new dimension.
- I feel like deck protectors are a smart purchase to make with this depending on how rough your pals are with cardstock
The Bottom Line:
So. Much. Fun. All the lying and ridiculous accusations make for really animated and hilarious games. Switching out cards every round makes the game super dynamic and gives everyone a chance to play various roles in a very short period of time. Super easy to pick up, and it's so compact I'll gladly take it with me to every get-together and party.

The moderators ability to improve is extremely important in this game. The moderator can add a lot of spice to the way the game is played and needs to be good at making up stories.
Likewise the players need to be friendly, talkative, and have the ability to think on their feet. This game is all about secrets, lying, and bluffing. Everyone keeps the identity on their card a secret and at the same time must make up a job for themselves in the imaginary village they live in in this game. Each day the villagers must vote to eliminate someone they think is a werewolf and each night the werewolfs (who know who each other are) must choose a villager to be their victim.
With over 70 cards, most of which have special abilities, it's easy to make each game a little more unique or challenging than the last. I highly recommend this game for people who enjoy using their imaginations and who enjoy a good story. This is a great game to play for actors, theatre groups, improve teams, and anyone who has a group too large to play a traditional board game.
What's great about the deluxe version is that it adds a LOT of roles. There are plain villagers, but also many other options that you can mix in to keep things fresh. The "seer" can try to find werewolves at night. The "revealer" can try to guess who a werewolf is, but at the risk of being eliminated. You can add roles that have their own goals, outside of the villagers and werewolves.
Compared to other "werewolf" games, this is a great choice, especially for larger groups. The regular "ultimate werewolf" is the same game, just with fewer cards. "One night werewolf" is similar, but is a shorter game for a little smaller group.
Overall, a great game.
This game is the Deluxe Edition. It includes normal directions, advanced games directions, detailed cards, note cards, and bonus hunting party expansion cards. All off these items are enclosed in a small 5" x 7" thick cardboard box.
