I loved this book — it was believable and covers a neglected story — the bi jock in high school. No the writing is not brilliant but the pace and clarity of the story telling was darn good. You can and probably will read it in one sitting. On the down side, it is a bit simplistic psychologically and fails to fully depict what a threat homosexuality is to this guys white suburban world.

It wasn't as great as I thought it would be. The book has large print and the story isn't all that detailed, but I can appreciate the author's attempt. I suppose it's more for the younger 6th-9th graders maybe when they're exploring/thinking about their sexuality.

this book was very very real. the struggles the protagonist goes thru were so heartfelt and gut wrenching. its an easy read that gives a very real inside into the mind of someone first discoing that they are bi, in a world full of judgment.

This book helped me what I'm going through I'm bisexual and this book really touched me. It was sad,a great book and very inspiring to gay, lesbians and bisexuals. I would recommend this to of course gays and bisexuals. This book should not be made fun of just because it's about a guy liking guys the author took time into making this.

Good read. Brett Miller is very relatable and three dimensional. He's popular and deals with peer pressure like any teenager, lost a parent at a younger age and is still finding himself. I was hoping after he and his girlfriend broke up that he would end up with the art guy, however then I realized that the book deals with more about self discovery than just purely romance.

I quite enjoyed this book. It's good having a story with a questioning bisexual male set in reality, as I'm struggling to find many others. The fantasy stories never did it for me. As a fellow bi guy, his coming out to himself was very relatable and would be comforting for teens going through this awkward period of self-identity.

As for the actual literature, I was uncertain of the writing style to start off with, but I continued as I wanted to see how the story developed. By the end, I was fully engrossed with the story, but felt like it ended too quickly. I wanted the story to go on, maybe stretch the final chapter our a bit. It felt...Sudden.

Overall, I'm happy with the book, and would recommend it as a good read for any questing people.
