Daniel is so excited to share with his mom that he is going to make a time machine. He asks her for supplies and he and his younger sister Sarah get to work. They want to be able to meet all the Bible characters just like they have learned in Sunday school. When they are finished with their machine called Yahweh's Express they begin to pray to God to help transport them to the Garden of Eden to meet Adam. They begin to feel like they are flying and really do end up in the Garden with Adam. They are so excited! Adam shows them around at all the glory that God has given him. They realize it is getting late and head back to the Express saying goodbye to Adam and saying they will be back.
Such a fun read and can be used at home as well as Sunday school.
I recieved this book from The BookClub Network for an honest review.
My toddler LOVED reading this with me, and even without having pictures his imagination was soaring as he talked about the garden and animals. The author Jann W Martin help make the story come to life as the kids create a time machine to go back into time and meet Adam and Eve. They make the perfect ship, and visit the garden so Adam can show them around the garden and see what it was like.
We have read the story of Adam and Eve before but the kids creating the time machine and going back in time put a new perspective on his version of it and helped him think differently as we talked about what it was like there.
I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to help their kids understand the story of Adam and Eve more.

This book takes children back into the Bible story of Adam in the Garden of Eden via a homemade time machine. The story, nicely paced, can be either read alone by the child, or a parent or sibling could read it to younger children.
I believe it would be best to first build a foundation for the child in the true Bible story before reading this story in case a child might have trouble discerning what are the facts and what part is fictional. This applies more, of course, to younger children than to older ones. The story is really good to help the child consider what it would have been like to experience the Bible story personally.
It seems some children have a jumble of Bible stories in their head, perhaps from sporadic attendance at church, so this book series is perfect to dispel confusion as to sequence of the Bible stories if the books are read in order. A timeline project could be set up to give more learning value and hands on experience with the series.
Thanks to the author, publisher, and bookfun.org for giving me an eBook format to read in exchange for an honest review. I believe that most children will engage with and enjoy this whimsical series that will serve well to put Bible stories on a more personal level with today's children.
I love how the book is written in terms for children to be able to read and identify. I cannot wait to share this with my children. I received a copy through Bookfun.org in exchange for my honest review.
In Adam in the Garden, based on Genesis 2, siblings Daniel and Sarah observe God’s interaction with Adam and see the first man give the animals names I received this book through The Book Club Network (bookfun.org) in exchange for my honest review.
The writing style is simple and clear so that children can relate to the Bible story. I can't wait to share this book with my nine-year-old niece and her little brothers.
