Brandon is proud to be the pastor of Locust Grove Baptist Church in Murray, Kentucky, where he and his wife, Dakota, live with their three dogs, Susie (Jack Russell), Aries (English Shepherd), and Dot (Beagle). Brandon is a native of Bandana, Kentucky, in Ballard County, where he grew up fishing in the creek and causing good trouble in the neighborhood. He was saved by the grace of Christ and called to ministry at the age of 15. He married the love of his life, Dakota, when they were in there early twenties. Brandon has been preaching and pastoring for several years, but in the last half-decade has also taken up writing books, articles, and newspaper columns. He is the founder and main contributor to the blog, Brandon's Desk, which features biblical resources from his ministry, as well as thought-provoking devotionals published each weekend. Brandon enjoys jamming on the guitar, backpacking on the trail, and savoring books on American history.
