This book was a great resource to us for the care of our dog, Bam, and to understanding the unique characteristics of the Bichon. We've owned a Bichon for years and still learned much from this book. I recommend it to anyone who is getting or already has a Bichon.

This book has a lot of great information on Bichons. Unfortunately the last few chapters about health, nutrition, and training were abouut dogs in general and not focused on the specific needs of a Bichon Frise.

I liked this book as it was not technical, explanations were clear and the information was what I was looking for as someone wanting to get this breed of dog for my family. The chapters were clearly titled and sub titled so I was able to easily look up any specific information i needed. You could tell it was written by owners of this type of dog - it was clear to see the love they had for these little dogs however - to it's advantage - it did also point out potential problems and issues you may have including quirky personality traits and cost/time of grooming giving you an idea and sense of responsibility you would have.
