Their first meeting was explosive, then what happened? Steel was asking himself that very question when Nick never reached out to him after the party. Then the next time he saw him Nick was warm one minute but by the end of the night once again avoiding him. He couldn't understand what was going on every time they were in the same room together Nick couldn't get away fast enough. Being fed up he cornered him at one of his many jobs for a private dance and conversation. After some pleeding, conversation and the clearing up of a misunderstanding they were off to the races. What was supposed to be a one and done turn slowly into so much more. Nick was still fighting the feelings and sparks between them, but Steel booked another appointment for yet another one of his jobs. Nick deciding to go give Steel a piece of his mind thinking he was playing a game lead to so much more, a night of passion and a sprained tailbone. Steel after getting over feeling guilty for dropping Nick used this as the opportunity to make this man his and that was the beginning of a beautiful but rocky relationship. Very Cute Couple😁😘

I can't even remember all of the countless books I've read with a "big" main character. This is only the second one I've read that the character wasn't constantly putting themselves down and needing reassurance. Nick is loud and proud. I can imagine some people might find his boisterous attitude annoying but I really liked it. And Steel was the perfect counterpart for him even though I doubt most people would put a rich lawyer together with this crazy guy who has some pretty crazy jobs. I really liked the book and my only real disappointment was that I couldn't see the flash mob myself.

Nick is just over the top! It was clear in the first book of the series that he was very self-confident, didn't care much about what other people thought about him, and just lived his life as he pleased, in a very shiny, exaggerated, colorful way. In this book, we discover that he loves 80's and 90's pop culture, and except for his friendship with Mickey, he is very self-centered, so much so that he bases his initial dislike of Steel on a few words he eavesdropped out of context and on the results of an online Google search he did not even fully read. These were not a good foundation for a strong relationship and his reaction was even worse when Steel presented to him a conflicting situation: instead of listening and discussing the issue with his lover, he decided unilaterally that Steel was the bad guy.

Nick might love his grandparents, he might be a hard worker, but I really could not understand which of Nick's character traits actually attracted Steel, besides their physical attraction.

I rated this book 3* because Steel, instead, was a very likable character, though his version of a Daddy is more a cuddle lover who lets his boy be a brat rather than an older wiser man who directs and cherishes his boy with a strong hand. I also like this author's writing style a lot: the characters tell a story at times as if they were sitting around the table with the reader, and I love this feeling of being part of the story!

I read that the last book of this series will feature Nick and Steel again and it will focus on their Daddy/boy/little relationship that was only briefly hinted at in the epilogue of this book. Well, that will be quite interesting, given that Nick does not give any Little vibe away!!

I loved this second book in the series, without having read book 1 yet. Nick and his daddy Steel took their time in getting on the same page, but ultimately all fell in place. I loved the weight factor in the story as well as the wealth issue. Both processed good in the storyline, making it a mm romance with a story, not just mm sex with some catch phrases. Well done Casey Cox! ❤️

I wasn’t as into this book as I was for the first book in this series, but I still really enjoyed it. I wanted to know what the heck was going on with Nick and Steel and what Nick’s problem was. It was a mystery for the first half of the book and Nick in his POV didn’t want to divulge the issue. Apparently he heard Steel call someone a “big fat baby” and he wasn’t happy about that. But he kept saying there was “the other thing” that he had an issue with...
Then we find out what it was and it didn’t feel like that huge of an issue for Nick to be such a jerk to Steel. It felt like Nick was the jerk, not Steel.

Anyway, I generally liked Nick besides that. He was a big boy and I was glad for the reference to his body and being plus sized throughout the whole book instead of a one and done mention about it. Soooo happy about that.

There was reference to an interest in age play at 94% and Steel had a nursery for “just in case” he found a boy to try it with, but nothing ever took place in this book. A tiny bit disappointed in that because I love age play, but it’s all good.

Overall I’d say this was a 3.5 or so but I’m definitely planning on continuing with this series.

3.5 Stars A great start as it seems Steel and Nick are still dancing around each other from book 1. Steel imagines what Nick would be like as his boy, but Nick does share the same feelings. A short hot sexy scene at the start, and I thought the miscommunication part was cut to short. Nick isnt to sure about Steel but the sex was hot as Steel pulls out all the stops to get him. Nick was a confused boy I think in this at the start.. his pov doesn't exactly come through with his feelings with the tellings in scenes.
Includes sloshing, dance moves, messy cakes, and an untimely accident.
Nick is a bit of a brat sometimes in scenes. Secrets and a few surprises are also included.
A great book to read and probably needs to be read in order as the story continues from book one. A fantastic ending
Nick 24 yrs was proud of his Big status and worked 4 jobs. Being a club dancer helped his Grandparents out financially especially with the bakery problems.

Daddy Steel 40 yrs ran a law firm and was best friends with Stirling and his new boy. A Daddy without a boy but dreamed of someone special aka Nick.
