I thought I kept up with conspiracy theories, as an amateur, but the information in this book was shocking, to say the least. The chapter outlining the public education system was most shocking of all. The national "Dumbing Down" movement is no longer a theory to me. It is a well-planned, well-orchestrated system, well-financed system to do just that: dumb-down the next generation of children in the USA; which has recently graduated. This is a must-read for everyone that loves the American way of life, such as it was.

Being a Red-Diaper baby, no one knows better than a reformed Communist raised by Communists. Mr. Horowitz is right on! We are in the midst of a civil war. For the last eight years, identity politics were put on steroids, and now there is a fight for the heart and soul of America. This book explains it all!

The problem with Big Agenda is that not enough Americans will read it. And, those on the left who do read it will not believe what they read...despite evidence of the truth found in Horowitz's book.

I am a life long conservative but I still was not clear on liberals and their motives. I always thought of them as soft headed non-thinkers. I got the book out of the mailbox and sat down to just read the Introduction, I ended up reading it cover to cover in one sitting. I know a lot more about liberals then I ever got from other sources. Excellent read. Clear, concise and well laid out. Great book.

This is a must read: Big Agenda: President Trump’s Plan to save America by David Horowitz. All Americans need to read this book to understand the challenges confronting our society. It makes no difference if you are a Libertarian, a Republican or a Democrat; so long as you are a patriotic American, you need to read Big Agenda. If you are a member of the Marxist news media or a member of the hate-America professoriate on a liberal college campus don’t bother. The radical left already knows what Horowitz has to tell us.

David Horowitz is the foremost authority on the Communist Movement in America. He became a Communist Party (CPUSA) member as a young man. He served with Peter Collier as co-editor of Ramparts Magazine during the 1960’s. He subsequently operated as an advisor to the Black Panther Party. In his capacity as a CPUSA advisor he discovered the Black Panthers were violent criminals – thieves and murderers in business for themselves. The experience challenged his core beliefs. He became disillusioned and broke with the Party. Horowitz turned his talents to teaching and writing. He formed a think tank devoted to research to solve problems posed by the Communist Movement and its march through our academic institutions. Big Agenda draws upon his knowledge of the Movement to lay out President Trump’s plan to save America.

Horowitz examines the threat to the Republic posed by the radical left, better known as Progressives. Their ultimate goal is a communist political system. They seek to destroy the Constitution and eliminate traditional American values such as patriotism and religious faith. Horwitz describes the tactical goal of the radical left as power -- the seizure of political power.

Progressives spurn morality, an important part of American traditional culture. Known as Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, their tactics demand a ruthless approach to seizing power. Character assassination, lies, fake news and false narratives are demanded by community organizers. Unethical conduct or dirty tricks play important roles in smearing opponents and positioning liberals on the moral high ground. The race card is employed to cast opponents in the worst possible light as bigots. Leftist literature lionizes Democrats as champions of victims – women, African-Americans and workers. The result is a myth of moral superiority shared by Democrats with the radical left.

Horowitz describes the progressive agenda of which Obamacare and EPA initiatives have been major components. Regulations introduced by both programs have taken control of much of the economy, while dangerously overloading the administration with costly overhead. Obamacare and the run-away EPA exert dysfunctional economic controls that strip away traditional choices and limit freedom. Horowitz describes Globalism and support for Radical Islam that play important roles in the progressive agenda for taking down the traditional civic culture. Progressives support Muslims, seen as people of color, because they import Sharia Law that poses a challenge to the rule of law. Muslim Sharia Law is incompatible with the US Constitution.

Big Agenda contains a wealth of suggestions on how to handle problems created by the long march of the Marxists through our public institutions. Horowitz describes concrete legislative proposals that are needed at the state level to clean out the Marxist professors dominating state universities, to eliminate sanctuary cities and to take privately endowed foundations away from Marxists directors, who currently control many of them.

Horowitz concludes Big Agenda by summarizing the concrete actions called for by President Trump to rebuild the economy, eliminate regulations that suffocate private business, cut off the influx of illegal aliens and put American workers back to work on projects from the energy sector to rebuilding infrastructure. The book is a gold mine of valuable insights and practical steps needed to resolve the complex problems created by the radical left and to save America from the deadly grip of socialism.

Show me to them, I am fired up on restoring our greatness. The only thing lacking from this book is what can we, as everyday people do alone to turn this around. Where can we watch over our K-12 while their teachers turn them away from self-reliance? How do we get to the Republicans vying for mayorships in Chicago,Los Angeles, Baltimore? I try to help with my donations, but get disenfranchised after the fifteenth "dire" request.

I liked this book but it also made me feel a little down in the dumps, realizing the monumental task that lies in front of all true patriotic Americans who want our country to be restored to the America we came to love and be proud of. The liberal, socialist, communist, destroy-the-fabric of America regime has so much more money, a giant media complex in their camp, an almost totalitarian liberal educational indoctrination system from Kindergarten through college in their pockets, plus the ability to engage in any violent, intimidating, near-terroristic type of behavior they choose with near-impunity to advance their destructive cause. Even with all that and more stacked against Trump, he pulled off the victory. Horowitz's main point in this book is that Republicans, Conservatives and Patriots need to grow a spine and stop letting the fear of liberal and media reprisal or political correctness cause us to cave in to liberal demands. Maybe we all need to be a bit more Trump-ish, tell it like it is and start standing up for original American values.

Book is short and sweet. Pretty much knew mostly before reading. References are a plus for research and knowledge. Awesome
