Kind of like the underwear bomber. That case just quietly went away too. There was an attorney that wanted to testify in court that he specifically saw the underwear bomber be escorted onto the plane by some kind of black suited "fed" when the airline personnel would not let them on. It's changed the course of airline travel to the PITA it is today. The attorney never got to testify. The case vaporized with the guy representing himself and pleading guilty.
While I can't say that Phil actually "proves" his ideas (how can he), he builds enough of a plausible framework that others will be able to follow on and fill out and further his main ideas. It's a major break in the "wall". Just like a researcher does in science. The early people take the arrows in the back and later people figure it out. We once fully believed the earth was flat and that it was the center of the universe. But those early guys probably got burned at the stake for such blasphemy.
The architects and engineers who've questioned the official story have it right. They aren't even saying they know what happened! They are saying that more work needs to be done and a "real" investigation needs to be done because the current one is a crock. But it will never be done while the people currently in power are in power. Maybe post American Civil War (the one still coming) if anyone still cares by then.
I pretty much have as much *official* air time as the terrorist pilots in 9/11 did.
As for myself, being a private pilot trained in the exact same planes with the same skill sets and training that the terrorists had (well, okay, I never took "Boxcutters as a Weapons 101") I can say that it would be utterly impossible for me to do what the terrorists did.
And if there were any real terrorists that would have an inkling of what was going to happen on 9/11 I bet they would have LOVED to have loaded up a 727 with C4 and timed it so that it followed on the tail of the plane that hit the pentagon with a TOTALLY unobstructed run into the pentagon end zone! They would have taken out the WHOLE pentagon instead of just a wall. What a coup that would have been! There was only one day that could happen: 9/11/2001. Never before, never since.
One of the things people who are not pilots completely fail to realize (because they've never done it) is that when you're up in the air at 5,000+ feet, it looks completely foreign. You have no idea of where you are or where you are going because you have never seen the world from that perspective before. You have no idea what is what until you stare for a while and re-piece together what you are looking at from the new perspective. It takes some getting used to and without autopilot for a straight shot, you tend to follow known landmarks - like freeways and roads - if you can. Even then, when you look down for the first time on a road you've driven your **entire** life, you don't even know what it is. Is that a freeway or a major street? Oh, wait.... That's the wrong highway, I thought it was XXXX, that not, that's XXXX instead.
Unless the terrorists had specifically flown those routes before (and maybe they did) in planes under visual flight rule to become accustomed to the geography, they would have no idea of where they were nor where they were going. Any more than if I took anyone reading this and dumped you in the middle of any of a million National Forests and said, "Here is your compass, navigate to this spot. Sorry, I won't give you a map though. You won't be able to read it or understand it anyway." I am betting 99 percent wouldn't even have a clue on where to start adn the other 1 percent would fail along the way - it's daunting.
Whoever flew those planes had LOTS of training in both the planes and usage of the planes avionics. That had to come from somewhere they never had access to by the official story. It's waaaaaaay beyond beginning pilot skills.
And if they learned to use the planes avionics and nav. Where in the world did they pick that up? I couldn't do it and again, I have as much training as they did. They would know enough for basic steering and that is about it. If the building was in the path ahead they could control well enough to hit a target but that is not what happened. They could maybe even land enough on their own with some kind of minor to total wreck. Anything more is absurd.
Though I guess they could be coached on a flight simulator over several months of VERY specific step by step instruction. Much like memorizing a very specific song on the piano key by key but that is the only song you can play because that's all you know! Ask them to play something else and they have no idea of where to start because they don't even know notes.
Phil does a pretty good job of connecting dots which may or may not be overreaching but **IS** close enough to help someone else get the ball rolling to follow up and further his work. Just like Jim Garrison did during the Kennedy assassination. No one wanted to hear what he had to say. (And he was pretty well muzzled by those in power.)
What the 9/11 report indicates is akin to saying that a freshman in medical school was able to VERY satisfactorily complete a 4 hour open heart surgery on their own after only one or two semesters of study. I'm sorry, stuff like that just does not happen. To say it does is crazy but that's exactly what the 9/11 report says. Phil points out from the avionic perspective how complex the "4 hour heart surgery" was that the terrorists pulled off. It's nuts to think they could do it. Now it might be able to teach someone how to do an exact type of open heart surgery (only) in a year if that's all you teach them over and over and over and over. I don't know. But that's not a freshman with only a semester or two under their belt figuring it out on their own. It's some highly specific training.
And I will say that Phil's account of it is a whole lot more plausible than saying that I could do what the terrorists did because I know it would be 99.99999% impossible for me to do. I'll leave some room for it being possible because there is no such thing as absolutes.
I actually think Phil's stuff made a whole lot of sense. And some may be reaching but most makes sense. Others can confirm as they now know where to look. Even at its worst, it made a LOT more sense than the 9/11 report. The one thing he did provide is a framework for others to follow up on and extend - regardless as to whether he could "prove" his ideas or not. Kind of "the solving of the rest of the exercise is left to the student".
I would love to have known what new info Phil was going to spill that got himself killed. He never should have told a soul in advance. Just published it. I'm guessing someone who read his last book knew something and gave him a tip on where to look so he did.
Hopefully, Phil was smart enough to provide a "backup" to his work. Since he was (rightfully) admittedly paranoid, I am guessing that he did. I doubt he ever expected his family to be taken out too, though. That was probably a "shot across the bow" to other people who wanted to follow his path. But so many 9/11 researchers have "committed suicide" it's not even funny. Even after they've said, "I am absolutely and positively not suicidal" because they know what happens. Still, they do their duty regardless as to the cost they know they'll pay.
05-29-14: I'm in shock! I finally got my library to put this book on the "NEW BOOK" shelf after listing it in the computer catalog. This is the only copy in 200 libraries that mine is plugged into! Oh, how afraid we all are of the horrific truth!!! Thank you, Janet, for doing this for all of the "truth seekers." I have just checked out Aldous Huxley's: "BRAVE NEW WORLD" and "BRAVE NEW WORLD REVISITED." I have read this numerous times over the years, but it is time to read it once again. Sadly, these predictions are becoming true in this age of I-N-S-A-N-E power mongers.
09-17-14: Unfortunately, my update regarding this book and my library is not good! I finally got my library to put this book on their shelf as I have written above. Much later, I was hitch-hiking from Yosemite National Park to Mariposa, CA when I got a ride from a woman who said that she was trained as an attorney and was now involved in making movies. I told her about Philip's book while en route, and I said some disparaging things about the Saudi's involvement in 9/11. She took issue with this, and was quite angry. I told her that this book was in the Mariposa County library, and that it was the only copy in over 200 libraries that mine was tied into. Well, she dropped me off at the library and said she actually had some books that she had to return. In the library, I showed her where Philip's book was located on the "NEW BOOK" shelf. She surprisingly checked this book out. She was from Fresno, CA so she had a library card that allowed her to check books out from the Mariposa library.
Because of her anger as a result of my blasphemy regarding Saudi Arabia, I said to myself at the time: "Well, that's the last time I will see that book." And sure enough, weeks later this new book was listed as "BOOK LOST." Guess who lost it? I had even given this rich woman $10.00 for gas!
As a result of this interesting coincidence, I took the 2nd new copy of this book that I had purchased from Amazon into the library manager and told her what had happened with this woman. The manager told me that this would be considered "censorship," and was unacceptable. She took my 2nd copy to put it into the system. That action was several weeks ago, and it is listed in their system as "BOOK BEING HELD." Most interesting. I wonder if it will ever get on the shelf!
I am listening to an interview with Philip Marshall that I found on youtube.com titled: "Philip Marshall on the 9/11 Attacks." This interview was done by "ConspiracyInfoTV2." I would highly recommend that everyone listen to this interview, and then I ask you: "Do you honestly think that this career wide-body jet airline captain could have killed himself and his two children?"
November 3, 2014: The 2nd copy of this book was finally put on the shelf at my library. It is currently checked out, and it has been overdue for two days. It shall be interesting to see what happens to this copy. I hope that my library, and all of those that it is plugged into, buys many copies of this very important book. We all owe it to Philip and his children!

Tragically, the author died early 2013 having apparently committed suicide after killing his children. Or was there more to the death than meets the eye? The book has many references that could be followed up at thebigbamboozle.com, but that website has disappeared. The report of the death was carried by the Daily Mail and there were many comments made about the circumstances. However a visit to the DM page in November 2013 seems to show that all the comments have been removed.
It sends shivers down the spine to think that humans in power may be capable of such evil.
The details and evidence in the book are strong and cannot easily be dissmissed as "made up nonsense".
I urge people to not judge it by its cover and read it, then ask youselves if it is fodder for the conpiracy world.
My sincere admiration goes out to Philip Marshal for having the strength and courage to write it.
May God rest he and his childrens souls and let the truth come out in th end.
