My girlfriend told me to read Big Girls Do It Running and join her 8-week challenge. I told her I don't run. She said for me to just read the book. So I got the eBook and read it in about 2 weeks, and I'm not a big reader unless it's interesting. Immediately I was very eager to give her challenge a try. Loved how it was a slow and steady process, not cold turkey. You slowly took out processed foods and sugars. That's what made it doable. I have lost 35 pounds so far!! - Richard C
The Wilder Way has changed my life in too many ways to count. I have lost 50 pounds by following the Wilder Way. I have a ton of energy and my self-confidence is through the roof. My family is eating healthier foods and really enjoying them. My mom, dad, and several of my co-workers and friends are all eating The Wilder Way and are seeing huge results in weight loss and are just feeling better. May 2016 is when my life changed forever. I grabbed a copy of Big Girls Do It Running, and I decided to give the program a try. I joined the Facebook group, and I thought I'd see what could happen. I was worried my husband wouldn't be on board, but he shocked me when he said he was all for the changes and to make the changes we needed to. Over the next eight weeks I found that I was sleeping better, I felt better, and the Coke I didn't think I could ever give up was just a distant thought.
Big Girls Do It Running helped me have the courage to say "I CAN DO THIS!" I have struggled with my weight since my son was born in 2001. I weighed 204 pounds when I started the 8-week challenge...Through this journey I have also learned to LOVE ME. I am so proud of myself for all the work I've put in.
