The manga itself definitely deserves five stars, but I must take one star away due to a very minor imperfection on the binding. I bought the library bindings for both volumes and they are beautiful! The pages were perfect and there were no scratches or blemishes on the covers. My only issue, though...one of the volumes was slightly shorter than the other by a couple of centimeters. Although this isn't too big (no pun intended) of an issue, it looks odd sitting on my bookshelf vertically, so I must keep them lying down so it isn't so noticeable. Being a hardcore book collector myself, I am quite critical when finding the perfectly flawless book and I usually will not buy a book unless I can see it with my own two eyes to pick out the best copy, but this manga is nearly impossible to find in stores so I had to buy it online.
To wrap this up, this truly is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to others! All in all, I am satisfied with my care :)
Without spoiling the storyline for you, the readers, here are some differences:
the manga shows Hiro looking much younger than his fourteen years and is a lot less mature than his movie counterpart. He is very shy and tries to cover that shyness by being a brat.
The storyline for volume one focuses more the relationship between Tadashi and Hiro, showing bits and pieces of their past and has extra chapter as to why Tadashi built Baymax.
Callaghan appears to look much younger and more handsome in this manga than his movie counterpart.
The characters display much more emotion and are shown to have more flaws than they had in the movie.
All in all, volume one of Big Hero 6 is a great start for a great new series for both fans and newcomers alike!
It's a "manga", which is different from english/American graphic novels, so that means your read from right to left. (I saw some reviews complaining about this)
It's in black and white, (Yay imagination ^^ )
The story follows along the same timeline of the movie but it has a 'different' approach to everything, including introducing the characters.

Great story and art though, but knocked a star off because my book was scuffed and starting to split a bit.
