"Very light hearted read about a hardcore New Yorker who really begins to grow on you as herlife takes her to 'da Big Island'. Her escapades turn the island into awarm, friendly, home but not without some bumps and bruises along theway. Very enjoyable and not easy to put down. Leaves me wanting more." - Bud on Amazon.com
"From Da Big Island is a delightful debut novel. I'm simply in love with Ruth, the protagonist. Once Ruth hits the island, I find myself smiling for the rest of the book. Talk about a fish out of water. Hope there's a sequel." - Sergio on Amazon.com
"The novel should be turned into a television series." - Sonja (84), Palmdale, CA
"From da Big Island had my attention from the second paragraph. Maybe because I was so familiar with all of the Hawaiian sites, I thought of this as a very visual book." - Charlene (82), Waikoloa Village, HI
"The book From da Big Island by author Bill Hutchinson is a delightful and entertaining little book that I read through in almost one sitting while I had a longwait. He captures the beauty of Hawaii and the friendliness of itspeople so well that I had the strong urge to pack my suitcase and headof to the islands. It warmed my heart on a cold January day in Colorado, and I hope it will do the same for other readers." - Erika (82), Colorado Springs, CO
