The Correct Color Gets The Points

Nail every color in the answer and you could be in with a chance of walking off with some points. But here’s the catch: in this game, you’ll only score points if at least one of the other players slip up. So if everyone gets the answer right, it means that everyone scores zero. If you’re the only player to get it right however, you’re in for a lot of points.

    So I know on the box it say 8+. But my 4 and 6yr old love to play this with us. We do however have them on either mom or dads team and they help. And actually my 6yr old is really good at this game, even a bit better than me. I am thinking about getting the not disney version too because I am loving this game.

    On a few of the cards though it has asked like the incredibles logo color, and it is on the card already because it says each movie in which the thing being described is from. So that is not good. But it has only been a couple that have been that obvious. Otherwise it is a pretty good mix of movies and questions!

    And it has been fun playing in groups. Like what 2 colors are Woodys vest from toy story. I thought brown and yellow. the other team brown and red. But It was not! brown and yellow is his shirt and red his scarf. So we all pictured right colors but not the vest. Which is cow hide! so black and white. This game can really get ya. And then there are a lot where we think we know them but are off on one color and more times than not it is just a shade away. like red and orange.

    So over all I am thrilled we added this game to our game pile! And will be looking at getting the normal version too!

    My family loved this game so much, my mom ordered one for each family (my siblings) and we all get on and play over zoom. I’ve got a 3 year old who loves it and my 5 year old nephew loves it too. We just play whoever get the correct colors gets a point since we have so many players but the official game is for 2 teams. I do wish the box was smaller, the game is the size of 2 decks of cards.

    We got this game for my mom, who’s a big Disney fan. We played it at a brewery with 4 teams of 2 people, where everyone was adults. The game kept us all entertained and turned out to be a rather close game.
    Some of the questions are more difficult than others, and you do need to know a lot of the newer movies to succeed. But, there’s also a few classics in there to keep the game fair.
    If I had to pick one disappointment of the game, some of the color selections weren’t as obvious, since the color didn’t fall into one specific category. For example, is something gold yellow or orange? In this game, it seemed to depend on the actual color that the gold was perceived in any specific movie.
    Otherwise, super fun game, and highly recommend for all ages, as long as they’re Disney fans!

    I bought this for our kids after care program and it gets taken out every week. I bought it for the school age kids but the teens love to play with them and the preschoolers join in too because you just have to know your colors. If you are a Disney fan, this game will provide hours of fun.
    A card gets turned over, i.e. what color is Randal in Monsters Inc, the card advises if it is looking for one color or 2 colors or whatever. Then each player lays down the color cards they think is correct. Whoever gets the right color(s) gets the point for that round. First one to 10 rounds wins the game. You also play as Disney characters as a team or individually, Team Mickey, Team Buzz, etc. to make it more fun.
