Super fast shipping. Came with a plastic case and was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped. The plastic case was not even dented, meaning it was packaged perfectly. People need to understand that this is an OEM product and you cannot order this item from the store, you can only get it from system builders and special orders when you have a laptop built. Don't whine about not coming with drivers, if you are tech savvy enough to even consider ordering this item, then you are smart enough to download drivers from the manufacture's website PRIOR to installing it, or hooking it up to a wired connection and downloading it from there. Great connection speeds, awesome distance of connectivity, and the bandwidth optimization software bundled with the driver is great.

I purchased this card based on some review research because I was experiencing really bad problems with my Samsung series 5 model number NP500 laptop. I could be standing next to my router and not ever get full bars for my internet. I couldnt access the internet in other places like the library either. I really like my laptop and was bummed with this issue. The card that came with the laptop was a bad one, I found this out because after I installed the Killer wireless I had full bars where I had maybe one bar or no service before, it was miraculous! This card was compatible with no problems for me, (if you have someone who knows how to install) and I am very happy with it. I recommend this product.

I bought a new Gigabyte P34G v2 (Ultra portable gaming laptop) with the "Best" Intel AC band card available, the Intel 7260AC. Now for reference my router is in the 2nd floor of my house on one end and my office is in the basement on the opposite end of the house. I have a Belkin 1200AC router (Bought it to use the new 7260AC) and on the 5 ghz band (Which is all AC runs on) I could only get 30-80 Mbs and the connection was no where near stable it was almost impossible to play games on it without a ton of ping spikes and connecting issues. On top of that even when I took my laptop to friends houses with a LOS to the router the 7260 had over 1,000 ping randomly just pinging the router (should be 5ish or less just sitting idle on desktop). I tried everything, changing drivers, adjusting the settings on the router, and everything else I could think of. Found out apparently the drivers for the 7260 are pure garbage. So I went shopping for a new card, 1202 incoming. I lose the AC band but if it works like advertised it won't matter because the 7260 is worthless anyway. All I can say is HOLY COW. My laptop is in the same place in my office and I get a SOLID 300Mbs connection with around 77% quality connection vs about 22% on the 7260 (When it wasn't randomly dropping networks or giving me 1k pings for no reason). Before this I never knew similar tech (2x2 antennas) could vary so drastically. Just as other people have said though make sure you download the drivers for this card before you install it, windows will not find default compatible drivers. This thing is definitely worth the money and I can't wait till they release an AC compliant card similar to this.

There seems to be a lot of controversy regarding Killer network adapters and their claimed performance. Many of the "issues" I read about seemed to be purely driver related. Seeing how I purchased this recently, I would think the drivers would be sufficiently mature by now and guess what, they are! This thing really does what it claims and I have seen a noticeable jump in my download speeds in addition to ZERO lag while gaming. Maybe these things used to have bad driver issues but not for me on 8.1update3!

This is an awesome wireless card! Just replaced this awful Intel Centrino Wireless-N 6235 that I have had in my Samsung ATIV Book 8 for 2 years and it took quite a bit of searching around to find the appropriate drivers. You can no longer find the drivers on Qualcomm's website, but can find them at the link below.

http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php/downloads/Drivers/Qualcomm-Atheros/Killer-Serie-%28Lan-WLan-Bluetooth%29/Qualcomm-Atheros-Killer-Performance-Suite-Version-1.1.49.1068/

This should take you to the driver suite that was released 07/2014. The drivers work perfectly on Windows 8.1, but are also bundled with Windows 8 and Windows 7 drivers. The driver package includes the MSI Killer network tool that comes in handy if you would like to manage performance of the card. It will show individual statistics for how much data a particular application is using. So far, I have had absolutely no issues with this card and it has not dropped connection at all, whereas the Centrino 6235 would drop around every 10-15 minutes.

When it comes to games such as World of Warcraft, Star Trek Online, or any other MMORPG, response time absolutely has to be as low as possible. With the Intel, I could not rely on it for PvP against other players or raiding. Now I can go into a raid confident that the only thing that might drop connection would be my modem. Same thing for downloading large files. I can't tell you how upset I would be going and downloading a new linux distribution for my desktop overnight to come back in the morning and find out that the adapter's power management shut it off mid-download during the night. Again, this is no more with the Killer 1202. I am very happy with this card!
