When I started reading this book, it didn't take long to keep me interested, and I read it quickly. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get, or stay in great shape!
A brilliant read and great information backed with a plethora of scientific studies.
I plan on coming back a few times to update this based off of results using Michael's methodology for nutrition and strength training.
I currently IF (intermittent Fast) and workout using Reverse Pyramid Training with 3 working sets in the 90%, 80% & 70% of 1RM, but will start blending in Mike's 4-6 rep range. I only work out 3 days a week so I have a Push and Pull day (workout A & workout B) that I alternate with most of my leg exercises on the push day and some rack pulls on my pull day. This allows me to have only 3-4 days of rest between the same workout, which works well for me. I also don't have a lot of free time on the weekends, so I enjoy having those days off as well.
I plan on doing a 2 week cycle with RPT and then 2 week cycle with BLS method to get used to the protocol, volume etc.
I will try that first for at least 2 months and then give my first update before going all in to the BLS method.
I recommend this book to anybody from beginner to gym rat!
