The 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump (and you!) Hardcover – July 7, 2020
Purchase options and add-ons
Yes, he’s brash.
Yes, he has an ego.
Yes, his ad-libbing sometimes gets him into trouble.
But the fact is Donald Trump is the most effective conservative president in decades.
That’s why the media hate him.
That’s why they lie about him.
And there’s something else.
When they lie about him, they’re really lying about you, because to the media, anyone who supports Donald Trump is deplorable.
But here, at last, is the counterpunch we’ve been waiting for.
Columnist and bestselling author Kurt Schlichter provides a fact-filled—and frequently hilarious—takedown of some of the media’s most pernicious lies about the president. In The 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump (and you!), you’ll learn:
- Why liberals cry “racism” at any argument they don’t like—when the real racists of American history have all been the Democrats
- How Trump “the warmonger” has actually given America a more realistic—and safer—foreign policy than any of his immediate predecessors
- Why the media refuses to understand the difference between legal and illegal immigrants (here’s a clue: Trump’s mother was a legal immigrant—and so is his wife)
- Why Trump and his supporters are infinitely more intelligent than a media that have gotten every major story of the Trump presidency wrong
- Trump’s great virtues (that too many Republicans lack): realism, courage, common sense, and an unapologetic determination to win conservative victories
Tired of media and leftwing lies about Donald Trump? Then you’ll love this book.

Donald Trump has a bond with his supporters that his unique in recent presidential history. Schlichter examines that bond and the personal traits of Trump and his supporters that really rattle their opponents, including the preternatural ability not to care about invalid criticism. In an effort to stifle dissent, wound the president, and drive a wedge between him and his supporters, the Left relies on defamation and projection, but such ad hominem methods not only backfire, but only serve to radicalize those subjected to them.
In refuting the 21 most common lies about Trump, Schlichter recounts incidents and issues not only from the first three years of the Trump presidency, but also from recent decades of American political history that led to Trump's takeover of the Republican Party and general election win in the first place. The author closes by opining on the post-Trump GOP and the type of leadership that will be needed to guide it successfully. "The 21 Biggest Lies" is a great read for this election season, and those who are addicted to the author's online columns can be reassured that this book is vintage Schlichter.
I only learned from Jack the jerk Meacham this week that I’m “a lizard brained” CHUMP! The C word per Jackie’s candidate Joe the Masseuse Biden, corn popped hairy-legged geriatric.
The book helped me understand and better tolerate my lifelong Democrat friends. So actually it’s a healing, self-help tool as well as a humorous read.
Hold your nose, Libs. Read it and pray.
All I can say is - Man, I miss him!
The author goes down the list of accusations and refutes each one: racist, stupid, homophobe, Russian puppet, Nazi, corrupt, warmonger, xenophobe, misogynist, pseudo conservative, opposed to free press, tool of the rich, climate denier, obstructed justice, pawn of the NRA, bully, isolationist, divisive and heretic. I was surprised they did not include wife beater and child abuser. But that may come later.
Trump does not qualify for sainthood, but during 40 years in New York City’s prime real estate market none of these sins were discovered by the intense NYC press corps. They were miraculously discovered AFTER he became a candidate for president. Funny how that works.
This book also discuses the future of the Republican Party. Is Trump the head of a wider movement, or is Trump the movement. He talks about possible successors and comes to some interesting conclusions.
I became a Trump fan after he fixed the Wollman Rink in Central Park. The City closed the rink in 1980 for a 2 year renovation. After 6 years the project was nowhere. It became a local scandal since the rink was popular and very visible. Trump offered to renovate the rink in six months at cost. He did the job under budget and two months early. He proved to me then that he could do things the Democrats in City government could not.
He is still doing what other people in government can’t do.
