I do not think I have enjoyed a birding book this much and I have read every birding book I could find. The story is beautifully written with just the right amount of detail and that fabulous British humor. I love the places, the birds and the thought of cashing it all in and doing what you love for an entire year. For those of us that can't, reading this book is the next best thing.
Thank you Alan and Ruth for such a fabulous story.
