This book consists of undated color photographs by Eddie Williams, a former bike messenger who works at the Nayako Gallery in Brooklyn. It documents the friends and experience Eddie Williams had as a messenger. There is no text except for a single page by Mireia Sentis who says that Williams began taking photographs in 1986 though few look that old. One picture is of a check dated 2003 and one saying good-bye to Giuliani dated 2002. Though bicycles do appear the book does not show anyone actually riding a bicycle for the the 1st 15 pages, another appears on p#20 and a group riding their bikes appears on p.#44. While there are other pictures of people riding bikes later in the book this gives you an idea.

The book consists largely of pictures of parties and other gatherings. The majority of the pictures show small groups of people smiling at the camera. Some wear costume make-up, a mask, and are seen drinking beer, making funny faces, have their mouths open wide frozen in a yell, laughing, making a peace sign or giving the finger. There is not much to distinguish such pictures from any other pictures of people drinking or just standing around. One gets the idea that some of these are people important to the New York messenger industry but anyone who is not a messenger from New York would benefit from knowing who is being depicted. It is hard to see what some of the pictures add to the book. There is a picture of the Twin Towers smoking after they were struck, graphic pictures of NYPD brutality at some sort of event and pictures of grafitti-covered walls somewhere. If you were a New York city bike messenger in the 1990s some of this might be more meaningful.
