I've tried many tubs of shake mix, over the years, since I generally start my day with a shake. My requirements for a good shake are not that rigid. I want decent flavor, lower sugar, fat, and substantial supplements. I also look for a decent protein load that will help curb the appetite until lunch. A little additional fiber wouldn't hurt, either.

Bikini Ready meets most of these preferences. One scoop with water is 130 calories, 3g fat, 3g sugar and no trans fat. Total carbs are still 16g and dietary fiber is low at 1g. There is 10g of protein, but I boost this by adding a lactose free, fat free milk, with 50% more protein and 50% less sugar, bringing my shake to 22g of protein. It's also lower in sodium than many I've tried, at 60mg. It does contain milk and soy for those who need to know.

The vanilla creme mix is tasty by itself, with no significant aftertaste. I find it mixes well with my hand 'shaker' container (not lumpy, or gritty), but the vanilla flavor lends itself to great mixing with fruit, or whatever flavor enhancer you might enjoy.

It's all a matter of personal taste. I have thrown away so many of these shake mixes after the first two to three trials because they tasted so nasty. I will definitely finish this container and likely purchase again, unless something adverse develops and we have a falling-out, but I'm not anticipating such.

This flavor is just as yummy as the chocolate! This flavor would be particularly good to mix with fruit to make a smoothie, but it's just as good on its own. If you've ever had white chocolate mousse frozen yogurt...that's what it tastes like to me. It's not as thick or filling as the chocolate...that's the only drawback I can see. I've lost 9 pounds in a little more than a month. I must disclose that I am under the care of a bariatric doctor and take a non-amphetamine appetite suppressant daily that is prescribed by the doctor as well as B-vitamin shots 3-4 times a week (also prescribed). I did not like the shake recommended by her, so I did some research and decided to go with Bikini Ready. I eat a KIND bar with a cup of coffee in the morning (maple glazed pecan with sea salt is da bomb!), 3 Bikini Ready shakes during the day, an apple, an eight ounce glass of V8, lots of water, and a sensible meal for supper. There are not enough daily nutrients in the Bikini Ready shakes to do just them without food. There are other shakes out there with more benefit than these for sure, but they taste like crap for the most part. These are the best I've found so far where the content and the taste are both decent. I think I'm on my 5th or 6th container of this stuff. Buy it!!!

I have always had an issue with protein mix textures, this was no different but the taste is a little better. I mix it with my smoothies to help with the texture but it is good and helps with staying full.
