These gloves have helped my pool game. I started wearing them because I hate using the messy white chalk. They give the cue really good glide while easily maintaining control. There's only a couple cautionary notes I'd mention to anyone that is considering this type of glove:
1) The Large size is really large - I have particularly wide hands so these fit me great. You might try one before ordering several like I did;
2) They may require periodic cleaning. I perspire easily, even just playing pool. That tends to stiffen up the fabric a bit. I just soak them briefly in some barely soapy warm water, then rinse, and let air-dry.
Cleaning is important to keep the fabric pliable. Because they stretch over your hands to fit snug on your wrist, if you let them get dirty and stiffen up, they're more apt to tear at the seams. Found this out the hard way when I kept going through them every couple months.
