Travis is one of the best goalies in the league, perhaps the best, and he feels that his performance on the ice should speak for itself. Considering all the he and his brothers endured upon his father’s death, I found this to be rather short-sighted and naïve of him. He’d already seen just how intrusive the media could get after his father’s death and the sudden fame his oldest brother had to endure because of it. Knowing that professional athletes live their life in the public eye, he should have been far more cognizant of the reputation he was gaining in the media and I found it rather odd that this seemingly intelligent man was surprised when his coach and the team’s owner let him know that he better shape up or he’d be shipped out. But his attitude toward Reily being hired to help him shape up wasn’t shocking. Despite being short-sighted and naïve about the media, Travis figured out rather quickly how to push Reily’s buttons and took quite a bit of glee in doing so and I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it either. The flirty banter between the two kept the book entertaining even when I was frustrated by Travis’s antics.
As for Reily, I understood her insecurities and her need for professionalism. Travis and his brothers may have grown up without anything and may have done what they could to distance themselves from their father’s money and company upon his passing, but Travis was set financially while Reily was rebuilding her professional reputation through no fault of her own. Did she make mistakes? Absolutely. Not everything fell on Travis’s shoulders. But her tendency to fall for the media’s lines, the very things she was hired to help Travis overcome, baffled me at times as well. Fortunately, Travis shares very important traits with his brothers – the ability to recognize the women meant for him and the willingness to do what it takes to make her his. There was plenty of angst, drama, sexy fun times, and romance to keep me flipping the pages to find out just what plays Travis was willing to make to insure he won the game. The Billionaire Heartbreaker was a great addition to the The Billionaire's Club: Texas Heartthrobs series and I look forward to reading more of Baxter’s books.
I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Reily is a hired PR to make others images look better than what they have been. After the business that she was working at closes, she decides to work for herself and build up clients. When she is contacted to "make over" one of Dallas's hockey players Travis Christensen, she takes the offer as it will help her career. She learns all of what she can about him and will be prepared for her interview with him. After meeting Travis she has to learn how to control her feelings and thoughts, as she must keep them professional even if she wants more with him.
Travis doesn't care what anyone thinks about him. He has the take no crap attitude and will do whatever he wants regardless of what the media may say. When he learns that he must get a "make over" or lose his spot on the team, he decides to give it a shot. When he meets Reily, he can't help the attraction he instantly has for her. Now that she is trying to give him a new image, he must learn to clean up his act. Travis is not sure if he can keep his feelings professional when all he wants to do is have Reily in his arms.
The characters have a strong connection and you can feel it through out the whole book. The chemistry that they share is very steamy. The both have some thoughts that they must overcome and realize that not everything is true. When you spend so much time with someone, you can't help but fall for them, right?

Travis Christensen enjoys his life to the fullest, when he's not on the ice playing goalie for the Dallas Stars, he's spending his free time in the company of lots of beautiful women. Between his panty melting good looks and being a star goalie he has no trouble at all keeping the women lined up waiting for their turn in his bed, and the media is always there to catch him in the act. But when his coach decides it time for him to start walking the straight and narrow, and hires a PR representative to help clean up his public image, Travis isn't having any of it...that is until he meets his new babysitter.
Meeting the Christensen brothers has been one of the best literary treats I have received this year, each one of them have found a way into my heart and their stories provided me with quite the little spicy literary escapes. Ms. Baxter is a truly gifted storyteller and each time I settle down with one of her books I know I am in for a real treat. I highly recommend you take a little time to acquaint yourself with the Christensen brothers, they are sure to capture your heart and have you swooning for days!!
