I realized after reading this book that this is part of a series (sort of) but you definitely do not need to read the others to enjoy this one.
This is a fun, sexy read that I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters are full bodied and not cardboard cutouts, the plot is well developed and engaging. I found myself not wanting to put it down and read it in one sitting! I can't wait to read the next book in this series and other book by this author! I received this Advanced Reader Copy of this book and I am voluntarily giving it my honest review.
Amelia has always had a crush on H. When she met him at age 9, he seemed like Prince Charming. His love for her sister just glowed. After her sister died, H stopped coming around and Amelia's mother got over-protected. As Amelia got older, she missed her big sister and want to know more about her. With no real interest in any career field, she decides to follow in her sister's footstep to get a feeling of closeness. She even has an interview for a job working in H's company. H offers her a place to stay until she gets settled and Amelia just keeps falling in love with him. She is afraid that her inexperience will turn him away so she asks H's partner to take her to Club S.
H is confused. He thought he had buried all feeling with his wife and child but Amelia is bringing out all kinds of emotions. He is feeling jealous, possessive and sometimes even happy. Will he have the courage to try a relationship again or will he go back to his cold sterile life?
This is a good book with some hot scenes. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
Amelia is his sister-in-law, he last saw her when she was 9yrs old. She always thought Henry was Prince charming and has a crush on him.
14yrs later she breezes into his life like a whirlwind, knocking Henry off course and arousing feelings in him he hasn't experienced for years.
He tries to avoid her and she makes friends with Aiden, one of his friends and business partners. She asks Aiden to take her to Club S where she is hoping to get in touch with her sexuality. When Henry finds out that she had dinner with Aiden he looses it, he grabs Amelia and kisses her and then rejects her.
Furious Amelia asks Aiden to get her into Club S again. She has decided to loose her virginity and she plans on doing it there. Aiden feels it is wrong and alerts Henry to the fact that she is there. Henry storms in, grabs her and says that if anyone us taking it, it will be him.
Everything goes well until it all explodes. Henry has choices to make and Amelia isn't sitting around waiting.
Will Henry make the right choices?
Will they get their HEA?
Beautifully written, developed characters and a wonderful story line. Gisele has done a brilliant job here.
I voluntarily read this ARC and am giving my honest and unbiased opinion of the book as I experienced it
