Bec Linder did not disappoint me as I read on; she must have extensive knowledge of our Filipino culture or a friend that is Filipino because she hit the mark on traditional practices, family obligations and ways of first generation immigrants. I was thrilled when I read it. That’s not the reason why I gave her 5 Stars.
I enjoyed the switch in character monologue. I enjoyed Carter’s point of view. Seeing his pain and seeing why his heart ass devoted to loving Regan. I sympathized with Regan’s internal struggle with cultural differences. I knew the feelings she felt and the heartache.
Bec Linder never fails to breathe life into her characters. Even her side characters were paramount to the story line. It is labeled Erotic Romance but it is so much more. #AwesomePlot #AwesomeCharacters #Awesome

I mostly enjoyed reading this story and the continuation of the romance and erotica between Regan and Carter. I would have given it 5 stars, but I felt Regan's character was a little too whiny and overly focused on the fact that Carter is a billionaire and she is a "regular" person. It was mentioned over and over and I felt like Regan was beating a dead horse with her billionaire comments after awhile.
Having said that, I really enjoyed reading how Regan begins to grow up and have more confidence and Carter learns to understand and embrace and accept that he needed to make a few changes himself in order for their relationship to succeed. This book ends with a wonderful HEA.
ultimately, i just didn't care if carter and regan got back together. i found them both less than compelling as characters, and very blah. this book was nothing but mundane day to day scenes and inner monologues. in short, it was a boring read.
Family differences cause insecurities to develop first from Carter's mother when she insults Regan and then when Regan returns to California for the Filipino Traditional Wake and funeral for her Grandmother. The character growth, how they face the cultural differences and learn to accept each other and grow together makes The Billionaire's Embrace an excellent love story.
This book made me super hottt , laughed, and shed a tears and exactly what you want. Amazing job to Bec Linder.
