The whole story is based on the fact that her father has cancer & is so wasted away they can pick him up and carry him to bed, her mom works 3 jobs and they can't afford to pay for his treatments and he will die without them. So the h becomes an escort/prostitute so she can help her mom and pay for her dads treatments and there is quite a bit of her worrying her dads going to die her mom will fall apart etc etc. and ya that's all pretty normal and believable. Whats not believable is that after we believe all this about her we also than are to believe she stays out all night and gets mad at her parents because they worry, she is rude, childish, walks out on her dad whenever he ask how she is, slams the door in her mothers face more than once. It just does not fit in my opinion.
It was a good book to read, I liked the characters but sometimes I just couldn’t connect with them.
Happy reading : )
