A really cute contemporary with a techie billionaire H and a librarian h. I was really caught up in the story and then ------ a cliffhanger. Aaaaargh!! The novella ends at 80% and the rest of the book is an excerpt for the next part of the cliffhanger story and an excerpt from the regency novel which the h is writing in the book. I read a bit of the regency novel, and it doesn't look that good. (This is a real book that is also by Maya Rodale and published by Avon.)

I was tempted to share some of the dialogue of this charming little book with my husband; but wait! He doesn't know I read this
type of "literature"!! I didn't find a character in this story that wasn't totally appealing and likeable, and the storyline was a fresh
approach to a modern romance/comedy. I was HORRIFIED when I got to 80% complete and realized that the story couldn't
possibly be resolved in the next 90 minutes; now I have to wait. Sadly. Alone. No one to share the sense of loss with.

It ended with a cliff hanger! I had no idea that this was an installment, which may or may be my own fault, but I NEVER read books like this. How it could just build up like that then end so abruptly felt like a rip-off. I'm so mad that I wasted my time with these characters, and when I go back to look and see if it said on the cover that it was only a part of a book, I really hope it was my fault or I'll be back to lower this to 1 star. If it were a whole book I probably would have given at least 4 stars.

Well, I went back and checked and there is nothing on the cover to warn me that it was just a beginning. While the story telling was fine, and I was into the characters, I don't feel I can give any more stars. I feel like I wasted my precious reading time. I'm a mother, grandmother, I have a job and I'm a full time student, as well. I don't have much time for leisure reading, and I feel like I was robbed of what time I do have. When a book is an installment it should say so on the cover.

Bad Boy Billionaire and New York Public Library Assistant announce engagement via Facebook

For immediate release--Everyone's favorite 'bad boy billionaire' Duke Austen has announced his sudden engagement to New York Public Library's assistant, Jane Sparks, via Facebook as the race for a 150 million dollar investment from the legendary Augustus Grey heats up. D and J may have everyone else in the city fooled but not this girl.

Certain sources claim that they saw Sweater Set J shushing two very loud lovers during the Hush Party--ironic, no?--which ended up in a met-cute kind of way with our favorite bad boy billionaire. On her hands and knees. We knew you had it in you J.

Problem is, J is still pining after her ex-boyfriend and D is hellbent on proving that third time is the charm. Nothing will stop him from getting funded and a woman like J could be good for his image.

D and J have gone social media crazy from Youtube to Twitter, Foursquare--I see you both checking into some of my favorite places--and Facebook, their whirlwind romance has been carefully chronicled. A little too carefully. We're just waiting for a sex tape leak. *cough cough*

Speaking of sex tapes, I heard some really loud sexing going on in the room next to me a few nights ago. Was that you D and J? Pretty sure that was a muffled "Duuuuke" and "Jaaane". What? Like I have better things to do than share all this gossip with you all. You obviously don't know me that well.

A few days ago, my favorite waiter got to see D and J interact in a social setting. A gathering of great minds happened in San Francisco and the deal went down. A few trip ups on J's part--hello, wine glass breakage--may have made one, AG, a bit suspicious about this couple.

I'm really glad that I read this once all instalments had been published and were available, else I would've been hopping mad like some of the other reviewers. It was a fairly nice setup and I liked the modernity of it with Facebook and checking-in to places etc. The H is a bit of a jackass in this book and if you aren't prepared to buy and read all 3 novellas don't waste your time reading this one.

A lovely romance novella, The Bad Boy Billionaire's Wicked Arrangement was a wonderful read. I really liked this romance and I love how it connects to the historical novels in the Bad Boys and Wallflowers series. Loved it!

I really like how this series is formatted. With each historical novel in the series, there's a corresponding addition to the contemporary novella (this book). I love it. It's unique and makes the series even more fun. I can't wait to see more of it!

Both Jane and Duke were lovely character. Jane was a quiet type, but don't mistake that for meek, because she had a backbone of steel. Not even a handsome billionaire could push her around. Duke was also great. A bit blind to what was in front of him, but, hopefully, that will be solved in later installments. But, for the most part, he was great.

The romance was lovely. Since this novella is only the start to their story, we only get the beginning roots of their relationship, and I really liked how it was done. They were sweet together, despite how adamant they both were to deny their feelings. And the chemistry was super hot. Those sparks were flying from the moment they met.

The plot was fast paced and I was hooked the entire way through. As I said before, I really liked the parallel, especially because I loved The Wicked Wallflower. I really enjoyed the story and the ending has me itching for more.

The Bad Boy Billionaire's Wicked Arrangement was a fantastic romance novella. I really loved it. Romance lovers, this novella (and the whole series in general) is a must read.
