Cassidy is through with letter her past dictate her life, she’s ready to unleash her sexuality. She goes to Serve with the purpose of becoming free. What she doesn’t expect is David. With just one look she’s hooked. David has more secrets than any man or woman should. He’s known for as long as he can remember that his secrets withheld him from the possibility of love, marriage, and especially family. David can’t help the intoxicating draw he experiences with Cassidy. David helps Cassidy overcome some of her past but will he let her help him do the same or is he willing to be bonded to his secrets. These two tear up and light the sheets in fire. While it wasn’t my favorite of the Serve series, Bind Me Before You Go was a very well written novel. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

First Impression: Extremely well-written with excellent characterization and a heroine I instantly liked. I love the author's writing style and I love Cassidy's personality. She feels real and unique.

Written by Harper Kincaid, Bind Me Before You Go is the eighth book in the Serve Series by Entangled Publishing Brazen, which started with Tessa Bailey's Owned by Fate. In this story, the heroine, Cassidy Peyton, is new to New York City and interested in experiencing new things, though she isn't certain she's prepared for what a place like Serve offers. David Cavill, the hero, is a sexual dominant at the club who takes an interest in Cassidy.

This book has a dynamite flow, which makes the story an easy, fast-moving read. Everything about it flew for me, which shows how much effort the author put into writing it and how much enjoyment I got out of reading it. It's a fantastic read and one of my absolute favorites from the series because of its ease and naturalness. This is a first-rate contemporary read with a heroine I could understand and connect to, and a hero I absolutely loved.

Sexy, intense, and dominant, David Cavill is exactly the kind of man Cassidy Peyton needs in her life. Because he challenges her and keeps her from living in the status quo, taking her safe, boring life to the exciting, adventurous moments she dreamed of finding upon moving to New York City. And she keeps him connected in ways he hadn't expected to ever find.

One of the big things I've loved about this book is the chemistry between Cassidy and David. It made the scenes they shared together intriguing and fun because they were a perfect fit for each other and the honest connection between them showed in their every interaction together.

Bind Me Before You Go is Harper Kincaid's addition to the Entangled Serve Series. It is a standalone, but some of the characters do overlap. I have read some of the books in that series by other authors, but this is my first read by Harper Kincaid.

David Cavill works as a security expert and is a Shibari rope master at a sex club called Serve. He's asked to take one for the team and "babysit" a newbie's friend while she goes through orientation. He is totally thrown off-guard when he meets the friend, Cassidy. She's sexy as hell and their chemistry leaps off the pages! He asks her to fill out an application too-just in case- but really just wants to know if she would entertain his specialty. No use in getting worked up over nothing.

Cassidy is new to New York. Her roommate talks her into going to the sex club with her since she's been approved and is itching to go, but doesn't want to go alone. Cassidy tells herself one of the reasons she came to New York is to open up more and take chances with people-a vast difference from her upbringing. Once at Serve, she feels a bit out of sorts, but then Wham!, she meets David. Sex on a stick and his voice makes her melt. She decides to fill out the application just to continue talking with him. She can feel the sparks and wants to know more, so why not?

This was a pretty quick read that moved along at a fast pace. At times maybe a bit too fast. I was surprised that Cassidy would jump so quick when David didn't really back up what he was selling her. He talks of mutuality and trust a lot in this book, and asks Cassidy to trust him, but doesn't give her any back. He's got some family issues and believes he isn't good for anybody. His reasoning may be valid, but I didn't like him being so hypocritical.

His heart is bound tighter than the bondage he craves...

Determined to put her past behind her, Cassidy Peyton moves to the Big Apple. But New York has a few dark secrets of its own, including Serve, an exclusive BDSM club. It's a place she isn't sure she's ready for, until she sees him watching her. Hot. Intent. Knowing. With eyes that leave her stomach tied in knots, because the loneliness he's trying to hide matches her own.

Security expert David Cavill has more secrets than any man should. Secrets that forever shut down any possibility of love, marriage, or family. Yet Cassidy draws him in, an intoxicating combination of strength, candor, and sensuality that David can't resist. But as their bond deepens, Cassidy must decide if she can love a man whose heart is bound tighter than the form of bondage he craves...

Review:

Though it does not list it on the Goodreads site, this is part of the Serve multi-author series. This is a total stand alone and do not need to read any of the others, though I have read quite a few of them and have enjoyed them all. This is a new to me Author and I really liked her writing style and the story and characters in this book. I am not sure how many pages there were in the story, but it flew by, I finished it my lunch hour. The author did a great job of combining sexy and emotion in this story. I particularly liked that David is into shibari and thought that tied (no pun intended) the characters together in the beginning and ending of the story. Both characters know this is affair is on a time limit, but you know those emotions don't know anything about time limits.
