Bind Me continues to tell the story of Yulia Tzakova, now captive of Lucas Kent, mercenary for an arms dealer. After the plan crash that is blamed on Yulia, Lucas brings her to the headquarters in South America to get the information on the group behind the plane that was shot down.
He finds he can't hurt her to get the information; his strong attractions started as sexual lust but turns to more. Yulia wants to keep her secrets to protect her younger brother but Lucas finally gets enough information to start searching for the UUR group she had been part of that had caused his plane to crash. Yulia finds if almost impossible to resist her captor and plans her escape into the jungle while Lucas is away with his boss for two weeks. I can't wait for the next book to find the ending to the Yulia and Lucas story.
Lucas has Yulia secured as his prisoner and is still trying to find out who she works for. The more time they spend together the more he falls for Yulia and the more protective of her he becomes. But Lucas doesn't realize who she's protecting or that Yulia is determined to escape.
Yulia has fallen for Lucas but she doesn't believe his feelings for her are real. She thinks he only wants information and will do anything to get it.
I genuinely like Lucas and am enjoying watching him fall more and more in love with Yulia. Although he still doesn't believe that's the direction his feelings have gone towards his prisoner. I'm not a fan of Yulia's not matter how hard I try to like her. I'm trying but she's testing my patience. I'm also realizing that part of this book took place in the Twist Me series, it's just being told from Lucas' and Yulia's POV. I'm definitely going to finish the series and hope my feelings change towards Yulia.
This series.... It just keeps getting better and better! I love how much this story is definitely it's own story, but how you can also see it fitting in with Nora and Julian's story. In this book, we get to go deeper into the obsession that is Yulia and just how possessive Lucas is over her.
We dive deeper into Yulia's past, which is rather tragic. In turn, we get to see more of Lucas's tender side as he slowly but surely peels back the layers that are Yulia.
This book has some twists and turns that I totally didn't see coming and I loved that!! There was plenty of suspense which kept me turning pages until the very end! This was an amazing second book in the trilogy and I cannot wait to see what the conclusion will bring!!
"Something perverse in me is drawn to this cruel, dangerous man, has been drawn to him from the very beginning."
