Works just like expected. No issues. You just need to know when and how to use them especially mixing receiving and transmitting equipment. 2 sdr dongles and 1 antenna or 2 antennas and 1 sdr dongle is fine but not 2 routers or 1 router and 2 antennas! But that’s because of physics and not cable.

Great 50ohm splitter cable

I purchased this to split an antenna I am using for SDR, so that I could run 2 SDRs off the same antenna.

I have read bad things about simple splitter Y cables, but to my surprise and delight, this cable did exactly what I wanted it to, without any significant losses. All equipment attached to it use 50ohm, so there is no impedance mismatch.

The quality of the cable is a bit better than some other cables that look the same, but I still wouldn't put too much force on it.

Overall I recommend it if you know what you are doing and need a 50ohm SMA Y cable. Great quality.

I attempted to use this to split off an antenna that I know receives traffic in two different frequencies very well (ADB-S and UAT.) Sadly, it dropped my aircraft count by over 50% and I never found any UAT aircraft.

Further, if you have any powered filtering it'll cause the other SDR to turn off.
