Before you buy...Will it fit?
Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2019
My brother loves this bidet, so I bought one. Neither the product description nor the install instructions suggest that you first evaluate whether your seat, like my Kohler in the photo here, has a downturn lip. If it does, this bidet will not fit as the lip hits the bidet edge before the seat can close flat on the toilet bowl. And yes, I finagled it for quite a while before giving up. Second, once you place the bidet on top of the toilet bowl and then place your seat on top of the bidet, unless your seat bolts are quite long, they will no longer stick out beneath the bowl mounting holes, so you will not be able to secure the seat. For me this was the case even after taking out the washers included in the bidet kit and the washers that my Kohler has on them.
So be sure you (1) have a toilet seat that's flat on the bottom, (2) that your toilet seat bolts have an extra 1" to accommodate the bidet's thickness as well as the bidet mounting washers, and (3) DO NOT connect the plumbing line first as the instructions suggest; instead, mount the bidet loosely to see if it fits your seat and bowl. Otherwise, be prepared to buy a new seat and hardware in order to use this product.
