So, I've used the Intensive Balm before, and was looking for something a little lighter. When I opened this and squirted the first pump into my hand, I was not impressed. When I started to rub it onto my leg, I was disappointed. "Oh, no...." I thought. "I've gotten lotion that's too light. This is like those cheap water based lotions that leave a waxy layer on your skin that melts and feels terrible and slimey when it's hot outside!"
How very wrong I was.
A couple of seconds later the watery/waxy feeling went away, and I realized that it now had a creamy oil based feeling, despite how well it was absorbing and melting into my skin. It was magical....all of the benefits of a heavy cream without the gross "I've been coated in lard and now I'll be sticky all day" feeling. I put this on after my shower, right before I go to bed....and I wake up feeling soft and smooth. Not a dry patch of skin in sight, and I don't have to worry about grease spots on my sheets or having clothes stick to me. I adore Bioderma.

Formula Changed!
I bought this product back in 2021, being suggested by my dermatologist. I loved it! Now that I'm running out I decided to buy it again. I noticed a lot of differences from the bottle look, labeling style to the product its self. The new version is more watered down (observed by how it started to spread and not keep its form before being touched), it also doesn't smell the same. I'm disappointed that they changed the formula and hoping it will keep hydrating my skin for hours.
