I love these. Tomatoes should be organic AND these are in glass jars. I really wish they would package them better though. I've never had a full pack. There's always at least one broken. I've had half be broken before. It's the only tomato paste I buy but might not be doing that anymore if this keeps happening. No bubble wrap or anything. Then you have to worry if the rest are safe to use because there's mold everywhere.

Compared to tomato pastes we're used to (Kirkland) this is somewhat less thick. However it's a minor complaint because the taste out of this world. These are superior tomatoes for sure. So good in fact one family member likes to eat it right out of the glass jar with a spoon. Glass jar means no worry about inner metal coatings leeching into the food. Came back here to reorder and thought I'd leave a review. Bionaturae Organic Tomato Paste is expensive for sure, but if you are a foodie this will surely become a favorite.

It costs a lot more than tomato paste from a metal can, but I find that I can always taste the metal when I get tomato paste in metal cans, and I decided it was worth the extra money to buy it in glass.

The jars make nice spice jars, and storage for small things like beads, and I also use them as small drinking glasses. Of course, a person can only use so many jars, but fwiw, I've found these useful in that way.

In August 2022 I purchased this product which arrived packed in a pasteboard tray of a dozen jars wrapped in plastic. The use by date is 05/20/2024. Today October 4 I opened the case to store the new stock in my pantry as used my last jar over the weekend. I discovered that three of the jars at one end of the case have been damaged, apparently the case was dropped landing on the edge of the lids. At least one seal is broken as the cap is raised and the jar is leaking and the other two may have loose glass shards in them as the dents are deep. Unfortunately the return window is expired. Thus if you buy this great product which I have been using for several years and was well happy to discover I could buy in quantity at Amazon, please unpack it on receipt. The only reason I have to mark it lower value for price is the 25% loss, as 3 of the dozen are unusable. We love Bionaturae products.

This is a delicious tomato paste. The order arrived and I immediately made a pot of sauce. The jars have an expiration of October 2026. This is almost 2.5 years from the order date. Very good.
The 12 jars were in a cardboard tray, shrink wrapped, then wrapped in bubble wrap and put snugly in a box.
That box was then put inside another box with additional bubble wrap.

Again, the taste is excellent. Naturally sweet and not at all bitter.
