Good idea, bad game. I'm a Bionicle fan, so i picked up this game. That was a bad decision on my part. The game only allows the Toa (heros) to play on one level. It's also WAY too easy to die, but even with that fact, I beat this game in a few hours. The only somewhat fun part is the bonus features you can unlock by collecting the way too numerous light crystals. My advice to prospective buyers... wait until another developing company picks up Bionicle.

We got this game the day it got released. The graphics are great and so is the sound. The game is easy to play and fun to follow along with the story line. It is a must buy for any Bionicle fan.

I can't believe I actually decided to buy this game! For a die-hard Bionicle fan, the game is that much more terrible. The acting is bad, the story is inconsistent, random, and doesn't follow the official story, the character designs are ugly, and, most of all, the game is just bad. If you have the money lying around, and have the choice between this game, and a giant, novelty pen, I would buy the pen. Trust me, it's more entertaining. The game is bad, and the developers should feel bad. End of line.

This game has poor controls and a majority of the difficulty comes from the poor control; there also isn't too much content to the game itself. Weak story-to-game adaptation and cringe-worthy voice acting aside, it's worth the money to buy it used for the nostalgia if you've owned and played the game before.

First of all dont listen to the four star reviews
They are being dishonest & untrusting
A much better game was in the works. You might even find some gameplay on youtube. But due to a glitch the game was canceled. Did they bother to fix it? No, sadly no
The toa nuva came & the movies & books but no game. Fast forward years later, new sets. Some good, some bad & some terrible mistakes.
Same goes for the games & movies.
With all the money lego makes they could make something great. But no they screwed us over. Hell when bionicle ended & Hero Factory was made, people hated it. The first sets were lame & lazy, it got full 30 minute fully animated cgi mini movies. What does bionicle get? Crap. Absolute crap. Back then & now.
If only bionicle got the same love as everything else.
And honestly i belive this crap is what replaced what could of been better that was canceled
It looked better. Youd played as the toa as they arrived on the island. Nope sorry
Heres a poorly made game nothing like the one we canceled & didnt bother to fix.

Oh wow, where to begin. I guess I should flat out say this game was very very disappointing and probably not worth even the 12.99 I paid for it, but at the time I figured, what the hey, I used to be obsessed with those little LEGO toys when I was a kid, maybe this videogame will be a way to... I dunno, go back to that time without actually playing with LEGOs... as I don't play with LEGOs anymore, thought I should clarify that. When I was in Game Stop on this faitful day... not even 4 days ago, I'd like to point out, it was a decision between this, Xenosaga, or Kya, and I have to say I made the WRONG decision.

I guess we'll start with the good. The game was modestly fun to play through, with each level varying in not only outward appearance, but also the way you go about winning it, whether it be snowboading with the Toa of ice or riding a crazy mine cart thing through an expansive cave; fun, maybe immature fun that should be aimed at little kids, but fun all the same. Also, a few of the normal enemy battles can test your skill just a tad, trying to shoot down 3 or 4 of those dragonfly enemies while deflecting their attacks to refuel energy needed for yours. That's about the extent of the possitive though.

Now the negatives... and boy do they outweigh everything else. First of all, and I know this has been said before, the game is too freakin' short! I bought this game on New Year's day, and here I am writing a review on the 5th (I don't review the games until I've beaten them). What's more, is this isn't even the only game I've been playing for the 4 day period, so I might have only put say... 2 or 3 hours into beating it. Secondly, for the most part, there were many unsatisfying and misleading aspets of this game.

My boys, 9 & 5, are huge Bionicle fans and asked for this game for Christmas. It is now Jan 9 and both of them have beaten it!!! The graphics are okay, nothing phenominal, and the kids seem to have had a good time playing it and say they will play it again. But where is the challenge when the 9yr old beats it in 2 days and a 5yr old can beat it in just a few more days??? Save your money on this overpriced day of entertainment and rent it instead.
