I fell in love with the smaller bottle I purchased last year because it felt so light on my face and worked well for my skin tone. It left a small amount of white casting but I could overlook that for how well it protected my face and how light it felt. I saw that they carried a larger bottle of it and instantly purchased it when I started to run out of the smaller version. I'm disappointed to be honest. It gets the job done by protecting my face and being a chemical spf but it's no longer the same gel like consistency as it was prior. The formula is different with an obvious cream like texture than before. The ointment is thicker, like regular spf and it leaves a noticeable white cast on my face. I legit look pasty with this on and as a black woman, you can notice this pretty well. I'll use it up since I bought it but I'll stick with the smaller ones with an actual gel like consistency to it. That's why I fell in love with their spf in the first place.
I'd highly recommend for my more chocolate drop folks, Black Girl Sunscreen. Doesn't make you look pasty, absorbs well within our face, and works for our skin colour/type.

Oh man, this sunscreen is amazing! It feels less like I'm putting on sticky sunscreen and more like I'm applying a second moisturizer. It goes on smoothly and just melts into my skin with ease. The scent is a VERY subtle citrus-like smell - which I appreciate since most sunscreens are so pungent that they'll knock your socks off. I've attached pictures for size comparisons, as well as what the product looks like when it's dispensed. Once smoothed into the skin it gives it a nice pearl-like sheen (not super noticeable, but nice all the same). WILL definitely buy again.
