First and foremost, let me tell you I am a logical person who is also a small businessman (graphics and video) and do not like to rip someone's product to pieces. I like to think that the creators of this Biotin Shampoo actually took time to formulate something that would help people but that is NOT my experience. I used this shampoo ONCE and it had such a negative effect on my hair, that I swore NEVER to use it again.
I have used a biotin shampoo in the past (the one by RE:LINE) and it worked like a miracle in making my hair strong and healthy. I wanted to use this new product though because of its supposed anti-DHT components. From . the moment I used it, my hair THINNED OUT COMPLETELY - It was so bad I couldn't believe it. I worked very hard to get my hair into good condition from my past (I grew up poor and malnourished - that combined with super stress at my company thinned my hair out a lot) - And ALL my hard work went out the window with just ONE USE of this new biotin shampoo by Maple Holistics.
I've read that the ORIGINAL ingredients are what was GREAT and then they changed it to a horrible combo. That makes sense because I cannot see HOW such a horrible product could be a BEST SELLER as well as have so many positive reviews! I've also read that pretty much all the NEW customers are getting that bad batch and have the same experience as mine - 100% negative. Again - this makes sense - I am just sorry that I took the chance on this product and wasted my money. I have purchased countless things online and was NEVER even near this disappointed because it actually is a DANGER to hair - everything about this product is just complete garbage and since I live in Trinidad (in the Caribbean) I doubt there will be ANY kind of return policy.
Please beware. I don't usually write reviews - Pretty much every purchase I've made was good or GREAT. This was by far the worst thing I've ever spent money on and I am still in the process of repairing the huge damage it did. If you want stringy hair that is lifeless - if you want even more hair falling out, but a clean feeling (lol) and if you want to DAMAGE your hair then perhaps this product is for you.
A much better product (though it doesnt do so much in terms of 're-growth' is the shampoo by RE:LINE - at least that one doesnt destroy your hair but gives it a nice thickness.

Hope this review saves you all out there and again - i base everything in LOGIC - not emotion - this is not some emotionally crazy review - I am just stating my experience. PS - if i could give this a 0 star, I would.
UPDATE - MAPLE HOLISTICS DID REFUND MY MONEY - so i am very grateful for that. It is a BIG THING to do - It does NOT take away from the fact that this product is quite dangerous - but i wanted all to know they at least had the COURTESY of refunding my money. They even wanted to send a free bottle of conditioner but i declined because as you can imagine, i don't EVER want to take chances on this company again. SO - I am sure there are some caring people working there but the product is very bad.
