Has Birkenstock started using a different color for their logo or are these a cheap knock-off? I have over 15 pairs of Birkenstocks and all of them have the name printed in gold lettering on the insole of the shoe....these are printed with brown, not gold, and not only do they fit smaller but they came in a plain brown box with no logo or labeling! Not sure if this is from the product or the seller, but buyer beware on this one!

I should have listened to the negative reviews posted. These are without a doubt FAKE and I am completely disappointed that they are getting away with selling this product with amazon.
Don’t waste your time hoping for the best like I did; as I am certain once you see them, you will just have to return.

I received these sandals 3 weeks ago. Today, the strap that goes between the toes disconnected from the footbed. Sure, I can glue it back in but for nearly $100 I shouldn't have to. The Birkenstocks I've previously purchased have lasted me 2-4 years (almost daily wear in the spring/summer) without breaking. This is the first time I bought Birkenstocks from somewhere other than a shoe store and I won't make that mistake again.

Not worth your money, they tear apart

Disappointed with these sandals. I have worn Birkenstocks for years. The toe strap in the middle broke on both shoes. It breaks down by the base of the shoe. I reached out to the vendor and never heard back. The shoe strap is not 100% leather it broke unlike my other Birks that are all leather. I would not spend your money on this style of shoe. I read multiple reviews prior about the strap breaking and disregarded the other reviews. I only worn the sandals three months before they started breaking, and eventually tearing all they way, with only the felt holding the shoes together. I ended up buying another style from Nordstrom, because I know they guarantee their shoes.

I was so disappointed, these didn't last 6 months before one of the toe loops came loose. This seller would not replace them. They told me to contact Birkenstock. I did. Birkenstock would not fix them because they said this seller was not authorized. So I am out 89.95.

I’ve had a pair of Birkenstock Mayari’s for approximately 10 years. I’ve worn many different Birkenstock styles since 1992. When I ordered my first replacement pair of Mayari’s, I ordered from a company through Amazon and I received FAKE Birkenstocks. I immediately returned them. I took another chance ordering from another company through Amazon (What’s Hot). I received my Birkenstock Mayari’s today - and they’re perfect (Not Fake)! As far as Birkenstocks go, I wear either a size 36 or a 37. I’m a size 7, but depending on the style of Birkenstock, I wear different sizes. Birkenstocks should not be too small or too large. My best advice is to research the style you like and find out if you need to order your true size or possibly go up or down a size. God bless!

Leather strap broke after 4 months

I’ve had these for 4 months and they broke! :( The leather strap that goes in between the big toe has broken and come off! I was happy with these Birkenstocks until a week ago. They fit well and we’re comfortable but I’ve only had them for 4 months and they’ve broken. Birkenstocks should last longer than four months. The company should replace these!

I ordered these just over a year ago, and after just wearing them through the summer and this past spring, they are completely unusable. I am incredibly disappointed, as this is not the level of quality that I expected of Birkenstocks. The soles are worn though, the sandal straps ripped from the base, and the cork on the sides is visibly disintegrating. It's hard for me to believe that these a legit Birks, since most folks I know who own Birks replace them every 5-7 years, not after 6 months of wear.

Sizing is way off, a whole size too big

I was pleased to find these Birkenstocks reduced in price, I really like the style which are less clumpy looking than normal ones.
But then I tried them on.....
I normally wear a size 3 standard width in a Clarks shoe and looked online to double check the sizes and thought the Birkenstock size 2.5 / 35 /225mm should be perfect..but its not, in fact they actually fit my daughter who is a uk size 4. I've photographed them next to a pair of oak & hyde sandals size 36/ 3.5 for reference.
For this style I would definitely recommend going down at least a full eu size to what you would normally wear.
Unfortunately I can't go down a size as they dont make this style in a 34. Have looked at childrens ones but the styles & colour choices are very limited....so annoying!

Birkenstock have different sizing I’ve had a pair for years so I knew even though I’m a UK 6.5 I’m a Birkenstock 5.5. The Mayari design is great for concealing/supporting a bunion! I’ve given only 4 stars as they sent the wrong type of silver I ordered the snake skin effect silver? as it happens the standard Silver 07081 isn’t that bad but it’s not what I wanted and it’s a lot of money for something you don’t want! I could have returned it but for all the hassle I’ve decided to keep them. Just be careful if you’re ordering silver?! I notice they’ve put the code next to the Matt silver now! However, If you love Birkenstock you won’t be disappointed!

Comfortable fit, not had this type of Birkenstock before so allowed for different style. As expected newness of straps so allowing stiffness to ease off. Overall pleasantly pleased. As I suffer with flat feet I wanted something to support my arches and that’s why I have bought Birkenstock in the past . Don’t want shoes to rub and give blisters either. I am normally a 5 - 5 1/2 but I chose a size 5 U.K. size. Good fit. As I said , hopefully newness will wear off in straps and don’t rub and then possibly buy this style again.
*UPDATE SEPT 2019* Just love these. Feel so comfortable and feels like slippers. Only rubbed a little on my right foot but that is down to me having a small bunion but didn’t really cause discomfort. Now looking for another pair, different colour.

This is my second pair of Birkenstocks. I ordered a UK 8 originally as that’s the size I usually wear but when they arrived, they were too big (8UK is 42EU in Birkenstocks). I then bought the 7.5UK (41EU) and they were perfection. Don’t get me wrong, they did hurt a touch the first day I wore them - mainly on the sole of my feet while it was getting used to the built in foot support, but after that first time - you’re golden. Birkenstocks are a long term investment - with normal flip flops and sandals they always have those garbage flat soles that end up hurting and not supporting the arches of your feet. I love this design so much that I’ve even bought a black pair now.
