She's moved into her new house but the braying of her hound has her grumpy neighbour up in arms. When she discovers why her dog has been loud she is in a state of shock. A body in the alley behind her house! With her sleuthing nose on the alert she starts asking questions. No-one seems to have a kind word to say about the dead man. He wrote newspaper articles that ruined people's lives, had rows about anything and everything whilst at the same time played fast and loose with the hearts and emotions of the female population. The more she finds out the more questions she has and Cade her sweetheart won't tell her what the police found out. Will she get to the truth before her inquisitive nature draws the killer to her?
Wow, Rainey can really get into some crazy jams.
Some people should not be questioned, and Rainey sometimes needs to know when to back off.
Cade is one heck of a man with all the patience he shows Rainey. I can understand needing help because he is new in town, there are limits to certain things that should happen.
With two jobs Rainey has little time to snoop, but she finds the time.
You will love this book. I may sound like I don't like the book, I do.
Rainey is like a neighbor down the street that just attracts trouble no matter what she does.
While reading this book I felt I was right there with her.
Get the book and go along with Rainey.
