Actual Product Review:
As you can see in the pictures above, there are 2 before, 2 after and 2 showing the canister after. Keep in mind I have very low patience and that sheet covering his dog bed is a queen sized sheet, wrapped around it sloppily to kinda help keep the actual Serta dog bed I bought for my dog in as great of condition as possible. I say this because the sheet is very loose and it got very annoying trying to hold it down and tight to allow the vacuum to do it's thing. But any where it'd cooperate (and even where it wouldn't, for the most part), you can see that this thing worked and it worked pretty great if I do say so myself! I do feel like if I had continued, it would have had no issues getting a majority of what I left behind.
Now I gotta play vacuum my floor with this little thing since it works so much better at picking up his dog hair then my actual vacuum does. Will probably look into getting a better one of those sometime too!
Nice little thing to note is the dog is terrified of my floor vacuum, after all, he's a dog - right? This I had him get off his bed and he actually came over while I was vacuuming it to see what was going on. He was scared, but at the same time he was more curious as to what was happening to his bed and/or maybe if I was getting hurt by this thing. Kept coming up and "nose bumping" me which is his thing to get my attention and/or wake me up to let me know it's potty time.
I'd totally recommend this based off of my limited time with it and hoping it lasts at least a year. I feel at the price point, I'd be happy getting at least that out of it, anything longer would be icing on the cake. Of course I'll come back and update if I have any issues with it.
Review of Delivery/Packaging:
I order off of Amazon a lot and I gotta say I've never had an experience as I did today in regards to the delivery. I get notified that my item was delivered, so I go to the front door to get it. La la la, open the door and no package! I think that maybe it's at my side/carport door, so I check there. No package?! I then walk from there to the front door and notice something brown in the middle of my drive way, near the sidewalk and a good 20+ feet from where 100% of all my other packages have ever been delivered. It was my Amazon package! The delivery person basically got out of their vehicle and just placed it at the end of my drive way, out in the open for anyone to easily steal. NEVER had that happen before!
I do the little "how was your delivery" thing and they don't give an option to explain what happened, so I hit up live chat. Just told them of my experience because obviously if the delivery person did this to me, he's probably done it before or will do it before. Not like there were any obstructions or anything to warrant that kind of delivery. They notate it and I go on my merry way...so I thought.
I end up opening the package a little while after and while I bought it from their Warehouse (used), it stated it was "Condition: Used - Like New - Item will come in original packaging.". I took that as ya know, having original packaging and probably having everything that came with it, or at least the extra little grey nozzle this is supposed to come with at the very least. I mean, doesn't state it does, but doesn't state it doesn't neither, so I felt it was pretty safe to assume what I assumed. I open it up and there's nothing "original" about it. The vacuum and the cord that's attached to it are in a "sealed" bag. No packaging. No other nozzle. No paperwork. Nada.
Not sure if this is my first time dealing with a "Warehouse" item; I wanna say it isn't? But this is the first time I've ever had it so blatantly falsely advertised that it's making me skeptical of ever risking it again. Images provided for this as well.
I will say that Amazon Customer Service is the tops and more than made sure that the over all situation was rectified and I felt like a valued customer. It's one of the main reasons I shop here and would be the only reason I'd risk a "Warehouse" buy again.

The Pros:
1)It makes minimal work of pet hair on fabric type surfaces. Probably the only machine that picks up hair so completely as I have tried many, only to hit the area afterward with my manual, handheld fabric brush and come up with enough hair to warrant me going over everything I just vacuumed again with that darn brush. But not the Pet Hair Eraser. When I used this product the first time and attacked with my fabric brush afterward, nothing but pure smiles.
2) It's handheld and portable which makes breaking it out extremely convenient, hassle and mobility free. Plus it doesn't take up any more space than a shoebox.
3) It's corded, so there's enough suction power to do any job for any length of time necessary.
4) It's super easy to dump any hair accumulation while you're cleaning to ensure that suction power remain hearty and super easy to clean afterward.
5) It has a HEPA filter, which is not a common feature in a handheld system and it keeps all that dander and dust from escaping right back into the air.
6) It has this nifty, rubberized fabric attachment that just manipulates the hair out of the fabric.
7) With the suction power this baby has it quickly and easily picks up most heavy duty messes with ease. I don't know what kind of party is happening around my cats food dishes and litter boxes when I'm not looking but this vac sucks up that daily overflow in less than 3 minutes.
8) The price ... need I say more!
The Cons:
1) The awkward side venting on the Pet Vac body blows heartily and makes it difficult to pick up anything that isn't weighted. If you try to pick up pet hair from a hard, non-fabric surface or worst yet, powder from a vanity (never again!) it blows the stuff around before you even get near it. Yea, there are those reviewers who say it's just about the way you hold the vac but who wants to pre-think a strategy every time you go to use it on a lighter mess. If pet hair on fabric surfaces or heavy duty messes aren't your primary reasons for getting this vacuum, then you should consider another handheld.
2) It's kind of heavy and the handle is awkward and uncomfortable, especially if you have small hands or weak wrists. I constantly find myself twisting my wrists and switching hands to get a good angle when going over a surface. However, I do find this a tolerable sacrifice for the overall power and functionality of the vac.
3) That nifty rubberized attachment I praised as a "pro" earlier is also a con, as it is somewhat harsh on fabric surfaces if you're not mindful of the amount of pressure you exert. The attachment is a soft rubber with nodules on it and it more or less grips and pulls at the individual strands of pet hair embedded in the fabric, which also means it's pulling at the weave of the fabric as well. I find that keeping a softer level of pressure and using long, directional strokes diminishes any harm you can do to the fabric. I mention this only because when I'm in a hurry I have a tendency to exert much more pressure and move the vac multi-directional and it is apparent that this method is harsh on the weave of the fabric. However, it's easy enough to catch myself and stop hitting the task like a crazy person.
4)The cord is a little short but this by no means diminishes the overall effectiveness of the Pet Hair Eraser. But, if you have larger rooms you may find yourself having to plug into more than one outlet when using the vac.
Overall, this is a great handheld vac for anyone who has pets. I think of the sheer amount of time and exertion of energy it took to clean up all that pet hair before the Pet Hair Eraser. Over the years I have tried so many different types of full, medium and handheld vacuums just to try and get the same effect I do when using a manual fabric brush. The pros of this vac deeply outweigh any cons because what used to take me literally hours to do, day after day, using my full size vacuum and specialized "pet hair attachment tool," inevitably followed by a manual fabric brush ... now takes under 30 minutes with the Pet Hair Eraser. If you're sick and tired of the sheer amount of time and energy it takes to clean up your pets hair, get this vac and be done with it!
For reference, I’ve had the vacuum for about 15 months and vacuumed my couch about 5 times so was surprised that they wore out so quick. However, I should mention I have a 6 piece sectional, all 6 pieces have at least 5 sides to vacuum and a good amount of pillows so it’s all relative.
I realized the rubber nubbies had worn out on the bottom so it wasn’t picking up much hair. I now have to flip the vacuum upside down for it to work as normal, but the BISSELL website has replacement nozzles that are compatible.
I recently vacuumed a section of couch with the solid plastic attachment and then went back over with the rubber one. While the solid attachment got a good amount of fur, the rubber attachment picked up maybe another 1/3 to 1/2 of what was picked up the first time. I would recommend with the caveat that you will have to replace the rubber nozzle.
