HANDS DOWN BEST J.L. BECK BOOK! -Goodreads Review
It's one of those books that's hard to put down. In fact, the entire Bittersweet series is like that! I want mooooorrrreeeeeeee!!!! *sobs* -Goodreads Review
The beautiful thing about this story is that after you feel like your heart can feel no more pain, it breaks again and then finally, finally J.L puts it back together. Even with that being said, she does it in a way that will leave you raw, wide open in an emotional state, and on your knees crying out to the book whore Gods for MORE! -Cheeky Chicks Book Hangover

I was given an ARC for an honest review......

.......and honestly, I LOVED IT!

The anticipation and teasing was worth it. The last line at the end tho, Josi? Ugh COME ON! Idk if I can take anymore! (Meaning, waiting to see what happens with these two for good. Wedding maybe ;) )

BT starts off two weeks after BH left off. I started this series hating Corey Winchester. After BT, my hate has turned into a low form of dislike. Even tho you see the change and growth in him throughout this book, I just can't bring myself to forgive and forget so easily.

Mimi. What a strong lady. I love this girl. I admit, I didn't like her, friend wise, after BR but that has changed. She has grown so much and I just love her personality. In BT, you really see this girl grow into the woman she's supposed to be.

I can't spoil, it's just not in my nature. Just know that you will love this book as much as the rest in the series. Plus you're already 4 books in so you might as well finish, right? ;)

Jk..ONE CLICK on release day! ((HUGS))

Trust me, Bittersweet Trust had me on the edge of my seat as I anxiously read to find out what would happen next. I had to find out if Mimi and Jenna's schemes worked, if Mimi would let Corey back into her life, if Corey would become the man he needed to be, if Declan would be more than just a friend, and if Mimi and Corey would be able to finally settle and create a loving, nurturing home for their family.

Trust me, I have enjoyed reading this Bittersweet series and witnessing, first-hand, J.L. Beck's growth as an author. Each book builds on her writing experience as she weaves complex issues and feelings with more depth and finesse. Beck also creates more dimensions within the characters as they grow and changes the dynamics of their relationships with each other mature. I enjoyed seeing multiple sides to the characters - more than anything, they became vulnerable and that vulnerability drew me in like never before.

Bittersweet Trust is my favorite book in this series. This is mainly because this book truly highlights J.L. Beck's ability to not only tell a story, but draw the readers in and make them feel for the characters. This is the first book that had me guessing, had me fighting the urge to read the end first just to find out what happened. I feel as though Beck put more of herself into this novella than ever before. I realize that as a middle school and college English teacher, I may look at fiction differently than others. I always tell my students that writing is more than just words - it's using their voice to tell a story and using their passion to pull the audience in. J.L. Beck has done an incredible job of doing this in Bittersweet Trust - I felt like she poured her heart and soul into this and shared her own vulnerabilities.

I went into Bittersweet Trust emotionally raw and torn apart from the wounds left by Bittersweet Hate. My already broken heart shattered into a million more tiny pieces from the very start. The emotions of Corey and Mimi were so vividly written that I saw every scene and felt every emotion. I smiled, I laughed but mostly I cried. I cried for the pain these two went through, I cried for the happiness they took a chance on and fought for. I cried because in NO way, shape, or form am I ready to say goodbye to them.

At this point, I am in awe of this author and the growth she has shown in her writing style! This book showcases exactly that as well as taking you on an emotional roller coaster you will not forget! I was down and then up, back and then forth. But for the life of me, I did not want to get off! In fact, I buckled up, grabbed me some popcorn and enjoyed the show!

Seriously though, this is one journey I am glad I took and will willingly retake over and over again! I didn't expect my heart to be broken again, at least not from the start.

*ARC received from author for an honest review.*

I give this wonderful book 5 CHANCE & CHASE STARS!!!

The wait and anticipation for this book after reading ‘Bittersweet Hate’ has been so hard for me, but so worth it.

The story starts off 2 weeks after the end of ‘Bittersweet Hate’. Mimi is heartbroken and an emotional wreck. She doesn't know how to move on after Corey. She has her doubts and insecurities, but she wouldn't be Mimi Jones, if you she didn't fight. Mimi, is so strong and watching her grow was so great to see.

Corey, I think takes the cake in this book. There is so much character growth with him. He isn't that little pr*ck bully from book 1 anymore. He’s matured and changed so much. I'm so proud of him.

Ugh, being a part of this couple’s journey was such an emotional roller coaster. I cried tears of joy and sadness because I was saying goodbye to some pretty amazing characters, but I know Josi wouldn't be the person that she is, if she didn't have them make a cameo in Declan’s story (SPOILER ALERT! Yes, sexy Declan Johnson gets his own book next ladies and gents!).

This book had a lot of elements entwined; second chances, personal growth, parenthood, maturity, pain, heartbreak, family, and love. If you haven’t read Bittersweet Hate, then I recommend that you do, so you could be a part of Corey & Mimi’s beautiful conclusion. Thank you Josi! Seriously, woman you've out done yourself ;)!
