Asking Alexandria is Back! With Denis Stroff ex Down and Dirty/Make Me Famous fronting them they surged back into the genre they all loved...Metalcore. This album is a Work of Art in my opinion. They worked really hard on this album and I bought 2 copies to show my support and to help with the bands 1st week sales which is everything to any artist or band. To be honest I'm glad Danny left AA. He was pushing to band into a 90s rock direction and the other band members hated it and when Denis joined it was like a fresh of breath air for them cause let's face it Danny himself admitted he didn't want to scream anymore which left AA in a bad position. Ben Bruce has said in many interviews that Their last album From Death to Destiny was Danny Worsnop album not AA but regardless it was a good album and The Black Is a must have for any Metalcore or Asking Alexandria fan! It's worth every penny and you will be supporting music so what are you waiting for go buy a copy!

Asking Alexandria is back and better than ever with their new album. The new singer doesn't miss a beat and sounds great and puts in 100% effort in the lyrics. My favorite songs are The black, I won't give in and the rest of the songs are all amazing. Great album from an amazing band, keep up the great music and keep rocking. This is one of the best albums of 2016!

Exactly what you expect from Asking and even though Danny is not with them any more, the new guy keeps the sound just as good. If you enjoyed the previous album, you owe it to yourself to get this one as well!

This is a sick album. The new vocalist sounds incredible and the music is on point. I'm sure the new live shows will be just as incredible. The chaos surrounding Danny was a draw for me I must admit. But this was the change AA needed in my opinion to make this work of art.

Loved it!! Came with some cool cover art and two decals you could put on your laptop, car, or notebook! Dennis is a great fit for the band and I love the direction they went with this new album!

I will admit that this album did take sometime before it began to grow on me, but after listening from start to finish multiple times I would have to say it's one of the best hard rock/metal releases of 2016. For me, it took some time for this album to grow on me due to this being the first album with Dennis on vocals instead of Danny. Dennis is a great vocalist, he has a great singing voice while having good screams and growls for contrast to the melodic singing. But with that being said, he sounds quite different from previous vocalist Danny, which creates a foreign feeling for first-time listeners of the album. However, long time fans are not forgotten, as this album is much heavier and a much more distinct return to their roots, whereas 'From Death to Destiny' left many listeners with a sour tastes in their mouths (or ears?) due to it's lack of heaviness compared to the first two albums (although I still liked 'FDTD' a lot). My review does not do a justice to the greatness of this album, give it a try and I'm sure you'll come to like as much as I have.

Similar sound but not as good as their old stuff. Hard to replace Danny Worsnop.

Skepticism plagued me as I'm sure it did for the metal masses when Danny departed, however... after doing a little research on Mr. Denis Stoff and having listened to his Down & Dirty life the veil of doubt came crashing down. In my mind there was no chance anyone could ever match Worsnop's vocals, vicious or clean, as portrayed in albums previous to Death/Destiny. But if anyone has rite as aire to the throne, that burden now lay upon Mr. Stoff's very capable shoulders. The dynasty continues.
