From the Author
The Black Dog is you...if you think about it. Dogs live good lives for many reasons. The biggest is that they do not develop the negative life banging emotions and feelings that we do. They are: Shame, Guilt, Jealousy, etc. This started out a a story about a dog and some military veterans and their pursuit of redemption from the hangover of war. When the feedback started to come, it became a self-help book for people looking for Faith Over Fear to make life much simpler and fun.
About the Author
Dogs and people are my passion...in no particular order. Good dogs and good people are the glue that hold societies and families together. I graduated from Cornell's Hotel School and spent my career in the hotel industry. I flew over a million miles and listened to the stories of thousands of people...their lives, beliefs and experiences. I write based on showing the relationships between people, and in this book people and dogs. Relationships are the real essence of life. If you write from your heart, people can read with their heart. Black Dog Redemption is a combination of those relationships, a tribute to our armed forces and law enforcement and their sacrifices, and a very special dog. My attachment to and admiration for dogs comes from the dogs I've had the good fortune of having a close relationship with. I live in North Georgia with Maggie, my comical and dedicated canine friend.

Plank proves himself to be a master "word crafter" with great insight into a multitude of areas. His story smoothly weaves the lives of people, dogs & war veterans into a fascinating tale. While this book has a memorable cast of characters, it is also a page-turning thriller. The twist & turns of the plot kept me riveted from the first to last page.
As you might surmise from this review, I found Plank to be a masterful writer & entertainer.
Put your feet up, read Black Dog Redemption: Faith over Fear, relax, & enjoy!
