The main thing lacking is good coverage of the Internet and social media as company tools as the book was written in 1999. Nonetheless, I use it to teach annual classes of minority business owners-to-be as there's little out there that is as comprehensive about all the other items a new business owner needs to know to get started. BTW, it's for everyone - not just minority businesses!
The reading style is smooth and solid. You can go fast or slow and still pick up a knowledgeable understanding of how to get things *right*. It is one of the best books to have with you all the time to be a companion when you need to quickly review a topic area or make time for one of the other options you may have previously put aside to propel your business.
Make sure you accompany this with other books or manuals that specialize in some of the topics to give you a heads up in situations that may change like legal issues or type of business-form you setup.
